Source the body, otherwise good work.Clone Commander Lee Talk 09:37, April 8, 2014 (UTC)- Feels weird to put refs into what is essentially an intro, but done.--Dionne Jinn (Something to say?) 14:09, April 8, 2014 (UTC)

You refer to the service as Commercial Service, Expeditionary Service, and Commercial Expeditionary Service, as well as Mon Calamari Commercial Expeditionary Service. Please be consistent in your usage, and only use one, unless the source specifically has all 4 versions being used. I understand if you want to use one of the first three, as it is shorter than the Mon Cala version, but only use one of them.- Unfortunately the only source uses only the full version. It kind of breaks the flow of the text, but what else there is to do?--Dionne Jinn (Something to say?) 12:51, April 18, 2014 (UTC)
- I'd guess it be okay to use the Commercial Expeditionary Service, to give it some flow.
- Full name left to two places, in others it now only says Commercial Expeditionary Service. Good?--Dionne Jinn (Something to say?) 13:37, April 18, 2014 (UTC)

Could we get a better date? At some point during the GE's reign is rather vague. Since the era is a "Rise of the Empire", I suggest you use "Prior to O BBY during the Galactic Empire's reign...."- That is a problem. The only source says nothing about when it was dissolved (as far as Stock Ships alone is concerned it could have ABY date). And using 0 BBY is problematic because it have to be at least several years before 0 BBY, but there is no way of knowing how much before.
- Wait-are you sure that the company existed in the Rise of the Empire era?
- Yes. It existed in a point where Galactic Empire had authority to dissolve it, but it must have been dissolved way before 0.8 ABY, because by that point Lost Reef was in Car'das' possession. So the dissolving must have happened at least few years before 0 BBY.--Dionne Jinn (Something to say?) 13:37, April 18, 2014 (UTC)
- Was Lost Reef in his possession for a long time? 501st dogma(talk) 14:19, April 18, 2014 (UTC)
- Don't know. Long enough for him to modify it. And before that it belonged to Saell-Terae, who had enough time to have "extended stay" in the Unknown Regions.--Dionne Jinn (Something to say?) 14:22, April 18, 2014 (UTC)

"...was the suggested backbone for the whole Commercial Expeditionary Service's fleet and around 10,000 DeepWaters were built." I am assuming that all of the Deepwaters were used by the service. Is this true? If so, it might be nice to clarify in the body.501st dogma(talk) 12:20, April 18, 2014 (UTC)- Stock Ships doesn't actually tell, but I guess assuming is fine in this case.--Dionne Jinn (Something to say?) 12:51, April 18, 2014 (UTC)
- Well, we shouldn't assume. If you can't be sure that the 10,000 were built for the service, either omit that details about the DeepWaters or revert it to how it was before. 501st dogma(talk) 13:23, April 18, 2014 (UTC)
- Returned to the previous version. We simply do not know. The exact quote form the book says: "The Mon Calamari Commercial Expeditionary Service was eventually—and abruptly—dissolved by the Empire and the fleet of light freighters were sold at auctions to private owners. Roughly 10,000 such vessels were produced." Nothing it that says all DeepWaters belonged to the company or that all their light freighters were DeepWaters.--Dionne Jinn (Something to say?) 13:37, April 18, 2014 (UTC)

- It would be nice to have information on who wrote the reference book and when it was released. Stake black msg 04:57, April 8, 2014 (UTC)
- Year added, but there are five authors mentioned for the book and no info on who wrote the part about DeepWaters, so I'm not sure if listing all five of them is necessary.--Dionne Jinn (Something to say?) 05:00, April 8, 2014 (UTC)
- Also, does the source say the Republic became the Empire? I not, you will need another source. Stake black msg 05:10, April 8, 2014 (UTC)
- Or I can just kill that overly-long-and-complicate way of saying something simple.--Dionne Jinn (Something to say?) 05:27, April 8, 2014 (UTC)
