Preliminary objection: I think you forgot the BTS.--Exiled Jedi(Greetings) 06:45, January 29, 2015 (UTC)
So, in the story, how is Protas stated to be mystical? I noticed you linked it to magic and wondered if he displayed some sort of magical powers.- I'm not entirely sure what is in the story, but from what I see in the article, you could probably add some information about their habitat in the infobox.
- Nothing specific, we don't know if they were amphibious, water/land-dwelling. Since it is a Kaminoan legend, we also don't know if the planet had land masses or not at the time. All we know is, they assembled their army, challenged Protas and were soundly defeated. Manoof (talk) 07:39, February 18, 2015 (UTC)
- You call them water dwellers in the article. Is this correct?--Exiled Jedi

- After having another closer look, they are at one time described as a school. This leads me to believe they are indeed water-dwelling, and I've updated the article as such. I'd appreciate if you could check the reference looks ok. Manoof (talk) 07:16, February 21, 2015 (UTC)
- Please mention the term school in the main article.--Exiled Jedi

Is there any indication of how large these things are?- Only that they were significantly smaller than Protas—they are referred thrice as "tiny" but this seems to be in comparison to Protas, and we only know that he is quite significantly larger than aiwha. We COULD assume they were human-sized, but they could have been smaller and there is no indication HOW small they actually were. Added a second mention to make it a bit clearer. Manoof (talk) 07:39, February 18, 2015 (UTC)
I would mention the fact that while the Kikla were unable to defeat Protas, the aiwha were later able to defeat him.Looking at the short story's article, I notice that it says that they argued amongst themselves. Please mention that here.It also mentions that the last Kikla was eaten. Please include this in the article.- Let me make this a little clearer: Please indicate that the last of the Kikla army were devoured by Protas and that he defeated them in the battle. Right now this isn't clear.--Exiled Jedi

- The short story article does not capitalize kikla, while this article does. Which is correct?--Exiled Jedi
(Greetings) 16:13, February 16, 2015 (UTC)
- This has me a bit confused now. Checking the source, "kikla" is never capitalized. However as per the MOS, as a sentient species ("a sentient group of kikla swimmers") it should be capitalized, and the addition of "swimmers" in that quote now makes me wonder if they were a subspecies or something... Not sure what to do now... Manoof (talk) 07:39, February 18, 2015 (UTC)
- In regards to the kikla swimmers question, how many times are they mentioned as kikla swimmers as opposed to simply kikla?
- Once as kikla swimmers, four times as just kikla. Though the above point regarding their aquatic nature leads me to believe kikla is indeed the species. Manoof (talk) 07:16, February 21, 2015 (UTC)
- You should probably still mention kikla swimmers in the article somewhere.--Exiled Jedi

- As for the capitalization, the rule you are referring to is for Humans/Near-Humans, which is sometimes capitalized and sometimes not. In this case, I would say that the capitalization of the original source should be used as there are no conflicts. You should probably also add a sentence to the BTS saying something like: "While most Star Wars sources capitalize the names of sentient species,(Include reference that explains this.) the Republic Commando game guide did not capitalize kikla. This will also require you to fully reference the BTS.
- That's the rule. Added, ref'd, not sure if the ref is sufficient though... Manoof (talk) 07:16, February 21, 2015 (UTC)
- It would probably be better to provide some examples of sources that capitalize the names of sentient species in the citation. Try to find sources that focus on alien species or grouped sources like the roleplaying games.--Exiled Jedi

- I used the essential guide to warfare, as it was the only thing I had handy. That ok?

Is "Pod" supposed to be capitalized for the Pod of aiwha?--Exiled Jedi(Greetings) 05:17, February 20, 2015 (UTC)
- The article is at 202 words, so you need to section the article and write an introduction.--Exiled Jedi

Minor things on a nice little article: What kind of tale are the Kiklas from (first sentence)? And "left small wounds". On whom?Corellian PremierThe Force will be with you always 16:22, February 13, 2015 (UTC)
- Fixed the second part (I think). Not sure what you mean by a type of tale, but I made a change and I hope that's better... Manoof (talk) 10:58, February 14, 2015 (UTC)
- Looks fine now (although I meant is it a mythological tale or not). Corellian Premier

Aren't these guys and Protas mythical creatures from Kamino? You use the deity info box for Protas, for instance, but the articles themselves don't treat the subject as though it is a legend/mythical/etc. If they are legendary, you should adjust the articles accordingly (I.e., according to Kaminoan legend, the Kikla...). --Eyrezer (talk) 07:20, January 29, 2015 (UTC)
- Does that mean this article is no longer a species article? I understand what you're saying, but went off the Protas good article, which i assume needs a review? Does this even get an article still? Manoof (talk)
- Yes it definitely still gets an article, but you are correct that personally I would categorize it in Category:Mythology (as Protas is in the deity category). --Eyrezer (talk) 11:58, February 3, 2015 (UTC)
- Ok so before I run off and make all the changes to the different articles:
