  1. Do you know for sure that the civil war begin 300 years before the GCW, not before the Battle of Yavin? It could be linked to 302 or 300 BBY. Darth Morrt 14:39, February 15, 2011 (UTC)
    • Unfortunately, no; the WOTC stuff is very vague in this way. The OS says "300 years ago," but never tells what the "ago" refers to. The best we can do is to be very, very vague. I could change it to "more than two centuries" if the wiggle room between "ago=Prequel Trilogy" and "ago=Original Trilogy" bothers folks. ~ SavageBob 16:02, February 15, 2011 (UTC)
      • Since the book supports any era, "ago" can mean 137 ABY too, couldn't it? The book uses the BBY system numerous times; every author uses the BBY system in recent times; and there are statements in the book like "80 years before the Battle of Yavin" (p 143). Isn't this enough to assume that "300 years ago" means 300 BBY, maybe with a ref or bts note that the date is vague? Darth Morrt 17:41, February 15, 2011 (UTC)
        • I rechecked the section, and there are no hard dates, just the vague "more than 300 years ago." I've moved all date-related information to BTS just to be safe, as the book ostensibly covers everything from the Tales of the Jedi era to the Legacy one. ~ SavageBob 23:34, February 15, 2011 (UTC)
