Is it sure that it happened before the High Republic Era, or could it have also happened during it? If it's the latter, "by" would be more accurate.LucaRoR

- The book is pretty clear that all of the artifacts in the Secrets of the Jedi exhibit are "ancient" and otherwise old. Since The Rising Storm is set circa 231 BBY and the High Republic Era is supposed to have begun around 300 BBY, I would say that the intent is clearly that all of the artifacts predate that era. - Sorry to chime in, but that no longer appears to be the case consdiering phase 2 is going to be set 150 years before phase 1, so that would be 380ish BBY Lewisr (talk) 18:45, 22 January 2022 (UTC)
- Point taken. Even so, artifacts from the 1860s-1870s aren't generally considered "ancient" IRL, in fact artifacts from the Middle Ages aren't considered ancient. Old, yes, but not ancient. Given the descriptions used for the stuff in Secrets of the Jedi, the implication that they predate the High Republic Era by a significant margin still stands. - I understand your point, but I still think "by" is the safest option since it could be prior to or during, which would completely avoid speculating. LucaRoR
