The last sentence of the body makes an explicit connection between the Anzat and the garlic, yet the BTS says that there is no confirmed connection between the two. Having written a number of "Dining at Dex's" articles myself, I'm aware of the ambiguity situation. However, I'm wondering why that note about the existence of the Anzat is in the IU body a all.
