In the infobox, the event is said to happen between 56 and 59 BBY. However, in the body, it is siad that it happened over a twenty year time period before 36-39 BBY, which would indicate that it took twenty years to come to an agreement. Which is correct?- That line on the infobox is for the date proposed, not for the time it took to complete it. So it was proposed between 59 and 56 BBY, but wasn't passed until 20 years later. In the infobox, I think the Support and opposition part is for the sides. the TF is goog there, but you might want to switch out the Wookiee leader for the Wookiees themselves.- Most articles I've seen have the support and opposition as particular people. I just have the Trade Federation there because the source doesn't identify exactly who represented them in this event. Commander Code-8 To say hi, press 42 05:39, December 19, 2012 (UTC)
- In edit mode, it says that is for side 1 and side 2, which would indicate that the TF and the Wookiees should be there. 501st dogma(talk) 01:30, December 20, 2012 (UTC)
- Here's a couple of status article examples where the individual representatives are used in the infobox, and in the second one an organization is used when exactly who was opposing it wasn't named, so I'm sure its fine the way it is. The dates proposed are exclusive to the infobox and should be in the article proper. Since we have an article on explorer, it's probably worth mentioning in the article proper that the Wookiees were explorers, like the infobox does.Menkooroo (talk) 04:46, December 23, 2012 (UTC)- They're in the article now... proper :P Commander Code-8 To say hi, press 42 05:14, December 23, 2012 (UTC)
- Great. However, check out Proper use of the dash for how to correctly place a dash between two dates. Normally I'd {{Sofix}} this, but hey, it's a learning experience!
- I didn't know that was a thing we had on the Wook, so that was something I needed to know anyway. Fixed. Commander Code-8 To say hi, press 42 23:06, December 26, 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry if the policy isn't very clear (it's not); be sure to type & n dash ; (but with no spaces) in place of a hyphen. The policy might not clearly say so (it doesn't), but that's what it means by "endash." Menkooroo (talk) 23:35, December 26, 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry, had a pretty big day yesterday spending about 5 hours in a car and then staying up 'til midnight seeing The Hobbit, which clearly hasn't rubbed off yet. Fixed. Commander Code-8 To say hi, press 42 06:21, December 27, 2012 (UTC)
