Wiki
- Add sysop rights via Special:UserRights (bureaucrats only)
- Add user to Wookieepedia:Administrators using {{AdminBox}}
- Remove username on Wookieepedia:Rollback, if applicable
- Add username highlighting to MediaWiki:Common.css
- Protect userpage(s) (optional)
- Add user to Category:Wookieepedia administrators, manually or by using {{UserAdmin}}, {{Admin1}}, or {{Admin2}}
- Add user to Template:Newcomers3
Discord
- Archive the admin channel and create a new one
- Alter permissions on all active consultation channels, as appropriate
- Add "administrators" role to the user (bureaucrats only)
- In server settings' Community Overview tab, change the updates and notifications channel to the new admin channel
Other
- Request a wookieepedia.com email address and/or to be added to the administrator mailing list (ask Grunny)
