Wombacks were giant creatures native to the planet Parada. A herd of tamed wombacks were part of the traditional Shaldania Parade held during the New Year Fete Week in 1 ABY.
They were consumed for their meat and the making of hides, being exported offworld providing a large part of the food on the planet Ord Gimmel.
