- "The satrap's palace, I'm guessing. Which lines up with the rest—here's the old capitol building, here's the Avenue of the Satrapy, here's the narrow Withrafisp Road—this was once a secret road, I'm told, to sneak satraps in and out of the palace, but it's been public since I was a girl."
- ―Norra Wexley, to Jas Emari and Sinjir Rath Velus, while viewing their makeshift map of Myrra
Withrafisp Road was a narrow road in Myrra, the capital city of the Outer Rim planet Akiva. The road was used to sneak the Satrapy of Myrra's satraps—Akiva's rulers—in and out of Myrra's palace. At some point by the time of the pilot Norra Wexley's childhood, the road was made available for public use.[1]
In 4 ABY,[2] the bounty hunter Jas Emari and the former Imperial loyalty officer Sinjir Rath Velus used several kitchen devices to form a makeshift map representing several locations in Myrra on a table, including Withrafisp Road. Wexley looked at their map and pointed out the portion she believed represented Withrafisp Road, indicating that she had heard of its past usage by satraps during her childhood. Impressed by the Akivan's knowledge of the world, Emari invited the pilot to participate in their initiative to capture several Imperial targets.[1]
Behind the scenes
Withrafisp Road was mentioned in Aftermath, a 2015 novel written by Chuck Wendig as the first installment in Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy.[1]
