William "Bill" Beck worked as a stagehand on the 1980 original trilogy film Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back[3], where he dusted the snowy surface beneath the model All Terrain Armored Transport before they filmed its collapse.[2] He later worked as a model maker on the 1983's Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi.[1]
Beck also worked as a model maker on the original Star Tours theme park attraction, and actually appeared in the ride's pre-boarding video as a technician performing a pre-flight check of the StarSpeeder 3000.[4]
