The Whisper was an IL-5 Ocula starfighter built by the Czerka Corporation. It was later purchased by the Hutt Cartel, who modified it with a variable transponder code system, basic stealth features, and a secure communications array.[1]

Mandalore the Avenger seized the ship after her forces discovered it involved in a smuggling operation in Mandalorian space. Her technicians further improved the ship's stealth systems and scanners.[1] The ship was used during the Mandalorian civil war to travel to Ruhnuk[2] and also used to rescue Darth Malgus from Carrick Station.[3]
