- "Uh, can you guys hurry up? I'm in some trouble here..."
- ―Weyn Jarl
Weyn Jarl was an untrustworthy informant for the Rebel Alliance. In 0 ABY,[1] while on[3] the planet[4] Tatooine,[3] Jarl acquired an Imperial probe droid and brought it to an abandoned junk shop where he began to dismantle the droid. Jarl was eventually located by Stormtroopers to which he barricaded himself in the shop[2] and sent a distress call to Rebel High Command stating that he had sensitive information on Imperial troop movements.[3] High Command then sent a squad of Rebels to locate and rescue Jarl, to which he sent one last transmission telling them to hurry. Hours later, the group of Rebels arrive and locate the building Jarl was inside, with Imperial forces currently working on cutting open the door. The squad defeated the forces and destroyed the door, only to find Weyn Jarl dead on the floor from several blaster wounds, having been shot at through the walls of the shop.[2]
Behind the scenes
Weyn Jarl was mention in the Star Wars: Imperial Assault Core Set[2] released on December 15, 2014,[5] on the card "Viper's Den"[3] and in the Campaign Guide.[2]
