The Werania system was located within the Biivren sector,[1] a part of the Slice portion of[2] the Expansion Region.[1] The system was the origin point of the items known as Weranian holocards.[3][4]
Behind the scenes
The Werania system was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, written by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed the system in grid square P-9.[2]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for Weranian holocards in relation to the Werania system.
