Waterweave was a composite material made of Semblan-native alloys and minerals. It was both heavy and bulky when not submerged in water, but paradoxically increases in buoyancy while submerged, a property that dazzled scientists.[1]

Waterweave deflects force applied to it, and its natural buoyancy allowed a wearer of the material to fight in aquatic environments without being dragged down by what would otherwise have been bulky and restricting clothing.[1]

Warriors equipped with waterweave usually claimed to fight better underwater than on any other terrain.[1]
