The Vlidan Labs were a location in the Chiss Ascendancy. In around 18 BBY[2], Xodlak'uvi'vil sent a brooch he acquired from the Agbui there for testing, and the lab's metallurgist discovered that it was partly made of nyix, an industrial metal.[1]
