Viv'Nia's training lightsaber was a training lightsaber used by Jedi Initiate Viv'Nia Nia'Viv during the High Republic Era.^[3] The lightsaber was supplied by an armory pool and was incapable of inflicting lethal damage. It had a standard basic appearance with a metallic silver hilt and shiny black segments around its midsection. It was optimally balanced for the repeated execution of basic defensive forms.^[4]

Behind the scenes

Viv'Nia's training lightsaber first appeared in the first volume of the Star Wars: The High Republic: The Edge of Balance manga series, written by Justina Ireland and Shima Shinya and illustrated by Mizuki Sakakibara. The volume was published by Viz Media^[1] on September 7, 2021 as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's Phase I.^[5]
