- "Who? My Nephew back on Corellia. Good kid, and I'd like him to remember his aunt. What? Imperial Vizier Mas Amedda's personal guard detail. Where? Coruscant, obviously."
- ―Vitale
A male individual was the nephew of the New Republic pilot Vitale who lived on the[1] planet[2] Corellia during the Galactic Civil War.[1] Around 5 ABY,[3] whilst playing a game of Who? What? Where?—a game where each contender had to say who first heard about their death, what killed them, and where they died—on the planet Troithe, Vitale stated that she would like her nephew to be the first to be informed of her death, as she wanted him to remember his aunt.[1] During the Battle of Jakku[4] that year,[5] Vitale played Who? What? Where? with pilots of the Galactic Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing over a comm channel. There, she chose her nephew again, but then switched him for her comrades in the New Republic's 61st Mobile Infantry,[4] which she had formally served in.[1]
Behind the scenes
Vitale's nephew was first mentioned in the 2020 novel Shadow Fall, the second volume of the Star Wars: Alphabet Squadron trilogy which was written by Alexander Freed.[1]
