While fighting the Nihil on Corellia, Alys Ongwa (pictured) attempted to collect the favor that Vinvin owed her.
Vinvin was an individual who lived during the High Republic Era.[1] By 230 BBY,[2] they lived in Coronet City—the capital city of the Core Worlds planet Corellia—and owed a favor to the Corellian Alys Ongwa who ran the Supreme Coronet City Diplomat Protection business. As a result, Ongwa had Vinvin's contact information saved in a list.[1]
That year,[2] while she, her crew, and several Jedi battled the Nihil pirates at Corellia's shipyards, Ongwa sent out a message for help across Coronet City, during which she called out the favor that Vinvin owed her. She then told Vinvin that she was collecting the favor, requesting they travel to the shipyards and help prevent Corellia from falling to the Nihil. The Nihil forces were ultimately defeated.[1]

Vinvin was mentioned in the 2022 young-adult novel The High Republic: Midnight Horizon, written by Daniel José Older and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase I.[3]
