The Victor-wing Fighter was a model of starfighter[1] that was active during the Imperial Era and used by criminal factions.[3] In 1 BBY,[4] several Victor-wing fighters ambushed the smuggling ship Windfall after the freighter stole a shipment of spice from the Hutt Clan.[5] By 3 ABY,[6] Victor-wing Fighters were used by Crimson Dawn in the space around both the moon Toshara and the planet Kijimi. These Victor-wings used the red livery associated with the Dawn.[3]

A bunch of Victor-wing Fighters were part of the Citizens' Fleet that fought at the Battle of Exegol[2] in 35 ABY,[7] assisting Resistance forces in their fight against the Sith Eternal forces.[2] Victor-wing Fighters were equipped with eight small sublight engines and a hyperdrive system,[2] and were armed with four frontal laser cannons and a dorsal quad ion cannon turret.[3]

It was initially designed for 2015's Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens as the ship used by the criminal organization Kanjiklub,[8] but it did not appear in the final film.[9] Due to time constraints at the time, the ship's design was created by kit-bashing other ships together.[8] The fighter eventually appeared for the first time in the 2018 film Solo: A Star Wars Story.[10] The ship was later identified in the video "Every Ship in the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy," posted on the StarWarsKids.com YouTube channel in 2020.[1]

The ship was initially referred to as a V-wing, which shouldn't be confused for the V-wings that appeared in the prequels; however, as several models of the same name already existed, it was later renamed after Victor Starspeeder, a character created by Jarrett J. Krosoczka for the Star Wars: Jedi Academy novel series.[11]
