Ventruun was a Grumani world in the Grumani sector that was located on the Hydian Way and was noted for canny merchants and frenzied deal-making.
Between 3701 BBY and 3699 BBY, the Hydian Way was charted through the planet as part of the Seswenna Expansion.[4] Shortly before the Jedi-led Operation Influx during the Republic Dark Age, Jedi Master Vannar Treece noted in his report on Grumani sector worlds to Republic Supreme Chancellor Genarra that Ventruun was apparently one of the few Grumani worlds where life could seem somewhat normal; however, most of the Ventruuni intrigues were organized by the Sith, who used the planet as an arena for their contests.
