Velmooine was a desert planet with four moons that occupied the second orbital position around the star Velm. It was located in the Velm system,[3] a part of the Halori sector[1] in the Trans-Hydian portion of[2] the Mid Rim.[1]
Behind the scenes
Velmooine was mentioned in the roleplaying source article Velmor: Royalty and Rebellion, which was written by Cory J. Herndon and published on Wizards.com on March 6, 2003, for use with Wizards of the Coast's Star Wars Roleplaying Game.[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas later placed the Velm system, and therefore Velmooine, in grid square P-7.[2]
