Vel was a male smuggler associate of Gault Rennow. During the War against Zakuul Vel was running weapons to civilians looking to rebel on the planets occupied by the Eternal Empire for profit. Following the raid on the Gilded Star Gault Rennow gave Vel a large loan, hoping for an even bigger profit in the future.[1]
