Vel was a male Moff of the Sith Empire during the Cold War with the Galactic Republic. After a prototype Imperial starship was accidentally scrapped on the junk moons of Axxila, Vel hired scavengers to recover the starship, and launched an investigation afterwards.[1]
Behind the scenes
Vel was first mentioned in the Scavenging crew skill mission "Throwing Out Diamonds" in the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic. With Game Update 4.1, the mission was made available to both factions, and Vel was referred to as faction-ambiguous "Admiral Vel."
