Varrow was a male Human member of the Dread Host who held the position of Dread Guardsman during the Galactic War. He led a raid on the reconstituted Sith Empire's Arcanum facility, wreaking havoc and also stealing the powerful Darkstaff. He fled to Belsavis, but was ultimately defeated in battle, causing the Darkstaff to vanish into thin air.
