The Varactyl Rescuer was a costume owned by the human Hunter Zaina that she could don for the Hunters of the Outer Rim competition on Vespaara as an alternative to her standard costume. It resembled the appearance of a green, feathered varactyl, such as Obi-Wan Kenobi's companion Boga, and featured a golden varactyl egg firmly secured to the back.^[1]

Varactyl Rescuer was an "Epic" rarity "Costume" for the Hunter Zaina, which first appeared in the competitive video game Star Wars: Hunters. It served as half of a cosmetic set alongside the Varactyl Feather Blaster.^[1]
