Vandyne was an industrialized planet located within the Vandyne system of the Outer Rim Territories. As Vandyne was within the region of the Ciutric Hegemony and was located in the same "corridor" of space as Axxila, it was a target for the space pirates known as Kavil's Corsairs. During the Clone Wars, the Ciutric Hegemony joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems, and so the planet became a member of the Separatist Alliance.
The world was attacked and conquered by the Yuuzhan Vong.[3]
