- "But you're crazy if you think a few kilos of vanalloy and vat-grown flesh could ever replace my wife."
- ―Han Solo, to Barduun on a biot replica of Solo's wife Leia Organa Solo
Vanalloy was a type of metal. During the era of the Galactic Alliance, the Columi businessmen Craitheus and Marvid Qreph operated powerbodies built from vanalloy. The Qreph brothers also used vanalloy skeletons in the bodies of biots grown in their laboratory at the space station Base Prime in the Chiloon Rift nebula, such the Nargons and the Human biot Dena Yus.[1]
