Valdeer were a type of creature found in the mountains of the planet Naalol. A series of small towns in the mountains were inhabited by valdeer shepherds as well as artisans and miners, although at least one such town was reduced to rubble after fighting on Naalol during the Galactic Civil War[1] in 4 ABY.[2]

Valdeer were mentioned in the 2015 novel Aftermath by Chuck Wendig, written as the first installment of Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy.[1]
