The Vagaari Wars were a series of conflicts,[2] including the Third Vagaari War,[1] that were fought between the Vagaari Empire and the Chiss Ascendancy.[2]

While the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas mentions that the Vagaari Wars happened after Thrawn's death,[4] the 2004 novel Survivor's Quest makes it clear that the Chiss have not seen the Vagaari since the time of the Outbound Flight Project[3] in 27 BBY,[5] which would place the first and second of the Vagaari Wars prior to 27 BBY.
