Vacasor was a Devaronian merchant during the Galactic Civil War.
Biography
Vacasor, a merchant and scout, bought the Merasy, a Nova-Drive 3-Z light freighter that had been previously owned by Geld Bernar and Iep Tumu before him. Vacasor replaced passengers' space with cargo decks but was bad at performing any further maintenance.[1]
Vacasor intended to circumvent Known Space through little-used routes that were rich in piracy. He hired a shrewd, experienced Ithorian merchant, Naneb Pefan, to serve as his co-pilot. Pefan insisted in improving the shields.[1]
A bad trader himself, Vacasor remained in business though the considerable business skills of his co-pilot.[1]
