Utrost

Utrost was a cosmopolitan terrestrial astronomical object^[3] situated in the Utrost system. It was located in the Coruscant sector, which in turn was a subsector the Corusca sector of the Core Worlds.^[1] Utrost lay at a distance of merely a few light-years from Coruscant, a city-world in the Coruscant system that served as the capital of the Galactic Republic and the Galactic Empire.^[3]

Pash Galae was a male Human who grew up on Utrost, in the process learning that world's social customs. At the same time, he also secretly harbored a hatred for the Empire and its corruption, learning to be an ace HoloNet slicer who attempted to infiltrate the networks of Imperial institutions and thereby embarrass them. Ultimately, when Galae was sixteen years old, he fled Utrost and joined the ranks of the Empire's enemy in the Galactic Civil War, the Rebel Alliance.^[3]

Behind the scenes

Utrost was mentioned in the 2003 Wizards of the Coast's Star Wars Roleplaying Game sourcebook Coruscant and the Core Worlds.^[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Utrost system, and therefore the celestial body itself, in grid square L-9.^[2]
