Re:Nebulon Ranger
Thanks for your concerns regarding Nebulon Ranger. As a matter of fact, as part of WookieeProject Tales of the Jedi I plan on bringing that article to featured status within the next few months, and will think of a plan to deal with the information. Traditionally, newer sources are preferred, but the old information will be kept in the article, in the "Behind the scenes" section along with an explanation of the discrepancy. Any more questions or concerns, let me know. Graestan(Talk) 22:23, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Re: Harpoon
Where, specifically, is this found in TJP? Toprawa and Ralltiir 05:57, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, the Beryl Chiffonage article discusses this connection in the "Tow cable legacy" section. However, in that story from TMEC, Davin Felth does not invent or suggest the invention of the harpoon and tow cable, he merely speculates that a cable could be used to trip the AT-AT. Chiffonage is the inventor of the power harpoon, and it's not the same as a grappling hook. Toprawa and Ralltiir 06:17, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- That is correct. I wouldn't necessarily define it as an improvisation. Always remember that just because an article says something doesn't mean it's correct. :) Toprawa and Ralltiir 07:32, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- Depends. Can you show me exactly what it says from the Weapons/Tech Guide? Toprawa and Ralltiir 04:20, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- Well, it seems like we have an inconsistency on our hands. :P Sure, go ahead and add the manufacturing company to the article, making sure you source it of course. The discrepancy between the company and Beryl Chiffonage should ultimately be discussed in the BTS. I'm definitely going to add it to the Chiffonage article, so I'm glad you pointed this out to me. :) As for the Harrow, article, while nothing states it to be a Victory-class, the image itself seems to support it being similar. It would probably be safe to remove the classification from the infobox and the intro. Toprawa and Ralltiir 05:09, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
