Addition to FA criteria
Don't you think any decent article in wookipedia should have a behind the scenes section (let alone FA)? --UVnet 19:00, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- I agree that a decent article should have an Behind the Scenes section. I had only removed your addition because it was just added with no discussion from the rest of community on the matter, not because I felt you were wrong. StarNeptune 19:15, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- Where can it be discussed? --UVnet 06:03, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
- You could bring it up on the FA talk page, or try the Community Portal, as more people read that than the FA talk page. StarNeptune 21:17, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

Blocking
Why did you block me as The One Sin? i didnt do anything wrong. I read youre thingy about the ip address but i didnt do anything. "say nite nite" wasnt a very nice comment also. The One Sin
And im using the account One Sin now. not The One Sin.
- If you read the IP address thing, then you would know that I didn't block YOU. It was someone else using that AOL IP that I blocked, not you. StarNeptune 06:24, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

That simply has to be the first time a person's edit of their own user page has ever been reverted. Glad to have been a part of it. http://media.ign.com/boardfaces/21.gif CooperTFN 09:04, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

- Ya hey its Mike Kazz, I added a new comments part on my bio so whatever u put ill keep. I hate talk pages so i decided to keep the comments. When can i win an award for something cause I have revised, created, and edited 64 articles. (If u want to read or see any theyare all listed on my bio) I also have some pretty cool and funny boxes and probaly the most anybody has, cant u win an award for that? Thats all, Mike Kazz

- You know, you really strike me as somewhat egomaniacal. First try writing them in the proper tense, and then we will see. -- SFH 21:23, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
- Okay I put back all the comments u guys had left before. Mike Kazz
- ok most of my articles are fixed, now can i win an award for something like articles or boxes? Mike Kazz 9:15pm, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
- Ya okay sorry Silly whatever your name is but iv been on here for about a year and I just keep adding stuff to Wiki. Im not a Main user so I need ways for people to know about the things I do. Jeeze. Mike Kazz 12:13pm, 23 March 2006 (UTC)

- Its offical, I have the most Userboxes on Wiki!!!! Mike Kazz 1:52pm, 36 March 2006 (UTC)
- Whoop-di-poodo. And if you have really been here for a year, why did you have so much trouble formating? -- SFH 18:57, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
- I didnt take the time to read stuff just did what I wanted and tried to figure stuff out myself. And lets see how many you have, 8, ya thats what I thought. I just have a more creative mind than you thats all. Mike Kazz Who cares about the date.

- To Mr. Kazz. You will 1) not get an award for those articles that you created since I had to correct everyone of them to the standards of this wiki, and 2) not get an award simply because you have more annoying userboxes than anyone else. -- Riffsyphon1024 22:55, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- LOL! --DarthCow--Talk| Email
- A little late on that now are we Riffsyphon1024, we already established that. Plus I already have an award so I dont want one anymore, I got it like a month ago. I only said I have the best, most boxes is so that people could read them not that so I could win an award. Also I finally wrote an article in past tense so techinally you didnt fix all my articles! Mike Kazz Who care about the date
- I hope your not mad StarNeptune but I nominated you for the Wookiepedia of the month. Mike Kazz Who cares about the date
- She is great, but she also won it in January. Someone cannot win the award and be renominated until six months after they were awarded. Shouldn't that be some where in the rules on the page? -- SFH 03:10, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

- Sorry Star, but you cant go around saying you have the most boxes unless you know for a fact, and i know for a fact that I have the most. Mike Kazz Who cares about the date
- Well, now. As SillyDan said, if your only purpose on this wiki is create a ton of random userboxes, maybe this isn't the wiki for you. Even I don't create so many random boxes. --DarthCow--Talk| Email
- No, Darth Cow, you create stupid ones that make no sence and take up space and then say you have the most!! I dont go on Wiki just so I can make Userboxes either, I have acutally writen and revised at least 60 Articles for Wiki (although my tenseing and spelling isnt very good as you can see) but I still contribute Articles and add information. It may not be cool info. people want to read about, but it's still part of the Star Wars Galaxy. You on the other hand have barly written anything to contribute to Wiki, made stupid boxes and said you had the most then said mine were stupid, and ranked yourself in Battlefront 2 on your bio (like anyone cares). Mabe you should get rid of that and make it into a box, or do you only like stupid ones? Now you might be saying, Your one to talk Mike Kazz your bio and boxes arent that good. well then leave me something on my Talk Page, thats what its for. Mike Kazz Who cares about the date
You're quick on the draw...
I just accidentally recreated something you deleted by putting a speedy on it after it was already gone. You're just way too efficient sometimes. :-) —Darth Culator (talk) 22:33, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
- Don't worry about it. :) That stupidity was another version of something I had to lock last night because he kept recreating it. I can't ban him because it's an AOL IP, either :( StarNeptune 22:36, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
- From what I understand, it should be possible to ban IP ranges. I'm not sure who has the ability to do this, though. I don't know if it's just Angela, or just Riff and WhiteBoy, or all admins. But according to this page on Meta, somebody can do it. You'd just need to go here to see which AOL server group the vandal is coming from and block it for a day or two. —Darth Culator (talk) 22:46, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
- Why don't we just ban AOL entirely? Surely no one so stupid as to be using it is any good to us here. CooperTFN 23:19, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
- Most of our vandalism does stem from AOL users: because of the stupid proxy system, they can get away with it more than non-AOL users can. By the time we block the first IP address, they are on their second or third. We ban IP addresses two and three, and they may be on their fourth, etc. The thing about this is that it has the side effect of well meaning people being blocked from the wiki as a result (as few as they might be). That range block is sounding more and more attractive by the second, but I don't want to use it because I'll probably screw it up somehow. StarNeptune 02:13, 13 March 2006 (UTC)

- I (one of the few well meaning AOL users) REALLY wouldn't like all AOL users to be blocked. It's not my fault I have to use AOL. My craptastic computer doesn't have anything else.--DarkShroud 8:51, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
- It's not hard to get yourself a new ISP. Personally, I think ISPs like AOL should be completely banned. Vandals (sp?) can easily hide behind it's proxy system and good users (like you, maybe) get punished. So, if your American, give Yahoo SBS a try or something :) Jacen Solo 15:49, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
- I'll probably be for the complete ban on all AOL users in a few days. I'm getting rid of AOL for another net server. But can someone give me a date in case they do ban everyone?--DarkShroud 7:00, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
- That's not likely to actually happen. It's just something that people have joked about on various forums/websites since the beginning of time. Or at least the beginning of the internet, which might as well be the beginning of time. AOL is sucks. —Darth Culator (talk) 00:19, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not on AOL anymore so I could care less now anyway.--DarkShroud 6:22, 22 March (UTC)
New planet infobox proposal
Hi, I've proposed a new planet infobox here (look under updated proposal) and wanted your input, seeing as you're the leader of "Operation: Planet Template." Thanks. RMF 05:17, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
Jedi and categorizing
I noticed you put back the Jedi character category I removed from the Zekk page. I did it because Redeemed Jedi is a subcategory to the Jedi char cat. In my opinion there's no sense in listing a character in two categories if one of them is a subcategory to the other, but I'm not quite sure about the conventions here. Take Jedi Masters for example: if a character is listed on this category, it won't get listed in the generic Jedi category. But is it the same with, say, Jedi Generals or Wild Knights? I'm currently making a category check on the Jedi pages and I asked about this on the Community Portal talk page, but didn't get a whole lot of answers. Maybe you could clear this issue for me? --Tinwe 09:17, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
- Hmm...I do see your point. My concern was that people would wonder why he was not listed in Jedi characters, but if this was applied to all Jedi in Redeemed Jedi, this may not be a problem (I noticed while browsing that a few are still listed as being in both cats). StarNeptune 20:58, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
- I understand that removing the Jedi character category may cause confusion on some pages, but I think it is easily fixed the way you suggested (and the way I've been planning to do all along, I just needed someone to give me his/her blessing :). So is it ok if I remove the generic Jedi category from the Redeemed Jedi pages?
- On a totally unrelated note, do you have an idea why the Category:User sw-2 isn't working the way it should? It only shows Adamwankenobi on Riffsyphon1024's names, even though I'm sure a lot more people have the template on their pages (including me). --Tinwe 19:00, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
- Go ahead, and keep up the good work. :) About the category: The category will only update when people update their userpages. Your userpage (and mine, too) will show up there next time we save an edit to them. It's just the way the wiki software works, I guess. :) StarNeptune 07:43, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
Tree of Tutelage
I was wondering if you ever made that Master-Apprentice tree.--Dustin Asby 01:58, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
- Not a tree, but there is a List of Masters and apprentices. StarNeptune 05:33, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
Deleting
While you're at it, can you delete ErrantVenture400.jpg, Errant500.jpg, and Booster.jpg? They're about to be replaced. Thanks. CooperTFN 08:43, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
- I couldn't find the Booster one (unless you mean the one currently in use on Booster Terrik), but I got the other two. StarNeptune 10:28, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
Droids
Not to bother you but why did you delete Template:Droids and Category:Wookieepedians who support Droids? They weren't harmful to Wookieepedia and those were for users who supported droids like me. Please restore them. MyNz 19:42, March 20 2006 (UTC)
- We had a userbox template reform, and any template that has less than 5 people using it gets deleted. I will restore it for now (to give you time enough to copy the code onto your page), but I will be deleting it again in a few days. StarNeptune 19:50, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed and thanks very much. MyNz 19:52, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
Userbox cleanout
While I agree with your "sweep" of the userboxes, I think it would be best if we left them for a few days to let people copy the code into their user pages. RMF 19:46, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
Subpages
- How do you make a subpage?--DarkShroud 4:16, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
- Say you wanted to create a subpage called FUBAR, what you would do is add "/FUBAR" at the end of your userpage in the address bar, and press enter. You should then come to a page that has the title User:DarkShroud/FUBAR. You can then edit it as you please. Another way to do it is to make a link on your userpage: You would type [[User:DarkShroud/FUBAR]], then you can either preview your page and open the link in a new window, or save your page and click on it from there. StarNeptune 21:29, 23 March 2006 (UTC)

I just wanted to thank you for banning User 84.68.133.136. I couldn't wait for this guy to get banned. TIEPilot051999 07:41, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

Stupid vandals, and stupid blocking system
- Hi StarNeptune :-) There's a bit of a problem with blocking User:62.253.64.14, in that it also blocks HavetStorm - he has emailed me about it, so I unblocked the IP address. Our vandal has been persistent and has been blocked again. I don't know what to do :-( You'd think there'd be some sort of "safe list", so that legitimate Wookieepedians don't get blocked because of a vandal's actions. What do we do? --Azizlight 10:31, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
- Does the block only affect him occasionally, like in the case of an AOL user, or does it completely cut him off? Since it's not an AOL IP, the only things I can think of that would cut him off like that is that his sibling(s) or friends is messing around on the site without his knowledge, or he's on a shared network (i.e a cybercafe or school network). If that is the case, then I don't think there is anything we can do but give temporary bans so as to not harm Havet. Perhaps at the next Mofference, we should discuss the ban situation and maybe hash out a plan for situations like these. :) StarNeptune 13:40, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
- I don't know much regarding AOL and it's IP system but can't Havet use something like the-cloak.com or some other proxy system. This would allow the vandal to be blocked and still let Havet edit (i hope)Phillowe88 22:48, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
