Hey, I can show you how to put a picture on your user page. Or do you already know? --Windu223 18:01, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, I'd appreciate any help you can offer. Despite using Wookiepedia for the past couple of years for information, I'm still relatively new to the whole wiki concept, and the language is a bit confusing. Thanks! --School of Thrawn 101 04:40, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
So this is how you put a picture on on your page. You go to the page with the picture you want and press edit at the top. And it will say for example {File:luke skywalker 250px} that's not the actual template but it's close enough. Make sure the template is the template for the picture you want. So you copy the template and paste it onto your user page or anoter page or article.Have fun with your pictures! And if you have any questions please visit my talk page.--Windu223 13:11, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
None that I know of, i'm afraid. --Windu223 21:46, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
How is the language confusing? Maybe I can help you with that. If you have any questions feel free to ask me on my talk page. --Windu223 16:21, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
Source Brija Kiall
Yes, i can look on youtube for brija kiall, sorry no more sources
I believe him. Maybe it might be of some use for Wookiepedia.User: The Master Destroyer 4:09, 3 May 2007
Thrawn, why won't you help source Kiall? Help us. Please.....
- Stalkers. --School of Thrawn 101 12:29, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
I am going to take that as a comment or an offense. OFFENSE TAKEN.
- Ok, here's an answer to your question: I do not care about "Brija Kiall" at all. There is absolutely nothing that could possibly motivate me to help you in your quest to "source" Brija Kiall using YOUTUBE as a reference for Star Wars Canon. That is patent nonsense. --School of Thrawn 101 13:22, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
Fav film
Yes I like much all the films. If there is some "rule" that I can't use all fav. film userboxes, tell me. DARTH SIDIOUS2 12:05, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

Hey. If it's because the user-boxes end up all over the place, I might be able to help you. I usually use the {{clear}} template after userboxes, which creates a space after the user box. The command <br> may also be useful. KEJ 14:27, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

Galactic Alliance fleets
Replying to your message here; if you want, perhaps the answer would be to change "the Alliance naval structure" to "the Galactic Alliance's naval structure", or something similar, in the Galactic Alliance Sixth and Seventh Fleets page. I'd already referred to the "Galactic Alliance" in the first paragraph of the page, which was why I didn't repeat it. Also, casual fans would perhaps not know about the New Republic, either. And if they were confused, they could also follow the links. But, if you think a more detailed discussion of the NR/Alliance transition is necessary, go for it!! --McEwok 10:47, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

GA Comment
Hi there, can you provide an example for me of an ellipse from Kith Kark? I'll review whatever the concern is, and get back to you. Thanks! Greyman(Paratus) 23:07, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks, I just found that right before you left that msg for me. I addressed it on the GA page, like I said there I don't mind at all editing that part if its not grammatically correct. Thanks for your help, Greyman(Paratus) 23:19, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
Thanks
Hey again, Just wanted to say thanks for your support on both the Kith Kark and Dace Diath articles. Cheers, Greyman(Paratus) 16:15, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
- Ya, I agree with you. The GA page really needs to be promoted more so that more users know its there – it sometimes gets kinda frustrating. Anyways, I'm glad that you've decided to help out with it and I'm looking forward to working with you as well. Cheers! Greyman(Paratus) 17:45, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
Venator images
I found the source for this concept art image on the Venator page, it's here, it was made by Ryan Church. Just thought I'd inform you that we don't have to remove this one, although I have no idea about the licensing thing.
I'm still trying to find the source for the main image. --Jedimca0 (Do or Do Not, There is No Try) 18:10, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
- It's perfect? that's....ehh.. perfect! I've never worked with the copyright before so I had no idea which one of the many templates I had to use, I'm glad you know. now all we need to do is source (or replace) the main image. --Jedimca0 (Do or Do Not, There is No Try) 18:17, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
- That may prove to be very tricky since he's been blocked for life. Perhaps temporarily replacing that image might be best, at least until we can source it. --Jedimca0 (Do or Do Not, There is No Try) 18:30, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
- That's great, now it’s going to be a Good Article, right? Congratulations. --Jedimca0 (Do or Do Not, There is No Try) 18:53, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

It says "The Administrator" on your userpage. I would change it so people like me don't think you're and admin. Sorry about the last comment, it might have been harsh. It just seemed like you thought I was new when I've been contrib. since last year. Sorry again. -Darthtyler

Mofference
Hey Thrawn, just wanted to let you know that at last nights Mofference we discussed adding a GA "something" to the FA page—I don't know what will come of it, if anything. I just wanted to give you a heads up in case you see anything about that. Cheers, Greyman(Paratus) 17:04, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
Venator picture
Hi, I've been in contact with Darth Windu who informs me that he can't remember where the Venator pic on the article comes from, but is 99% sure it's an official image. --59.100.198.120 07:42, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks, but I already found a source for the main Venator, and it wasn't an official website. If there's another more official place from which we can source it, Darth Windu is more than welcome to submit that information. Via you if that's how he chooses. --School of Thrawn 101 11:36, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

I checked the article (haven't read it yet), it looks good, the only thing I noticed during my first "inspection" was a redlink among the sources. I'll go read the article now and I'll let you know what I think. --Jedimca0 (Do or Do Not, There is No Try) 16:11, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

Very interesting timing indeed, especially because I started my edit 5 minutes before you saved yours. It appears we both edited our user page at the same time, I just had a few miner problems before I could finally save. - I don't know how you can tell when someone starts their edit, I just check my watch whenever I start one, don't know why, I just do. That's how I knew when I started my edit. --Jedimca0 (Do or Do Not, There is No Try) 11:14, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
- I only know when you saved yours (I checked recent changes), which was 5 minutes after I started mine.... just a simple misunderstanding I think. --Jedimca0 (Do or Do Not, There is No Try) 11:22, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

Hey SoT, where have you been? Haven't seen you around in awhile, hope all is well. Cheers, Greyman(Paratus) 15:55, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
- Good to see you back! The GA and FA page's haven't been the same in the last week or so :P Greyman(Paratus) 11:38, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
- The TOC section was originally taken out b/c there was a bug in the page's code that was causing it to appear wrong. So it was taken out, but then after a couple days it was added back on since the bug appeared to have been fixed by Wikia Staff. On a separate note, I did cleaned up some GA's (some got GA, the others are waiting), the last week or so I've been concentrating on some FA's that I've written. So again, I'm glad that you're back to help hold the line. Cheers, Greyman(Paratus) 11:16, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
Salutations
Hello there School of Thrawn. everything’s good over here, busy, but good. I've been a bit busy with school and other "important" stuff lately. That's why I haven't been around as often as I would like, but it looks like my vacation has finally started. I've been keeping an eye on the GA page and it looks like it's getting a bit more attention. I noticed it has now been "linked" to the FA page, that really helps promoting the GA's. how's everything on your side of the blue ball? --Jedimca0 (Do or Do Not, There is No Try) 13:27, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
- So You've been busy too, well, as far as I could tell during the few times I was around, you haven't missed much. I've noticed some of the GA noms need some attention, so I'm going to start there. If you run into any “interesting” GA projects, let me know, because I'll be having lots one my hands during the next few days and I'm happy to help out wherever I can. --Jedimca0 (Do or Do Not, There is No Try) 09:56, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Aeten II Canon in Empire at War
If I read the WP:Canon policy correctly, by virtue of Empire at War being a LucasArts computer game alone, the apperance of Aeten II in that game is most certainly canon. There is no other canon that conflicts with this...unless you are aware of something that I am not? 24.16.133.49 09:18, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, didn't realize I wasn't signed in...this is me. Pelmarn Da'kari 09:20, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, I think I understand where you're coming from...I'm pretty sure though that it is an acceptably canonical appearance, though...especially in vanilla Empire at War. According to the article on the Tarkin superweapon, Aeten II was destroyed sometime between the Battle of Yavin and the Battle of Endor as part of the TIE Phantom project (to get easier access to stygium crystals. This places it's destruction sometime during the Forces of Corruption expansion to the game. However, considering that Aeten II does not even appear in the story (canon) campaign of Forces of Corruption, for all we know (and for what is most likely) it IS destroyed...just simply not displayed on the galactic map, like other planets that are not displayed in the story campaign. In fact, the only place where Aeten II appears in the expansion is in the most definitely NON-canon (free) Galactic Conquest mode, so there really isn't any contradiction with the planets destruction. So, what do you propose I do to the Aeten II article? Pelmarn Da'kari 09:49, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- Alright then, that's exactly what I will do. Thanks. Pelmarn Da'kari 09:55, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

RE: GA Proposal
I've read you comment on Greyman's talk page and I agree with you, some of the GA's need to be improved. Someone should review all the current GA's (or at least the older one's) and provide a full list of article's that need improvement.... and yes, I am to busy to do it. ;)
I think we should set up a project and start working on making a list of article's that need to be reviewed, perhaps GA's that were promoted more than 6 months ago would be a good start, after that we could start reviewing the newer ones. If you don't mind I'll forward your idea to AdmirableAckbar, he's been working on several GA's and we've been working together on the Jedi Order article. I think he can help us with this. --Jedimca0(Do or Do Not, There is No Try) 10:40, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, I think that is a good idea. Another GA which I noticed is in need of references is Shmi Skywalker (which is bizarrely up for FA at the minute). I'd be happy to help with the reviewing. I think you should also inform some of the inqs/admins who are involved with GAs, like Eyrezer and Xwing328. 20px TheOne&OnlyAdmirableAckbar (It's A Trap!) 14:30, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

GA's
Hey SoT! Sorry it's taken a little longer than normal to get back to you, but I finally took a day off today, and I thought I would let you know what myself and some of the other admins discussed. Essentially, the GA's don't need a panel of Inq's or whatnot, since the older GA's (Which there are only a limited number) fail to, really, meet only the referencing criteria now. If we had a panel of GA Inq's it would be only a temporary thing at best, since there are only a limited number of older GA's. What was discussed, and agreed on by those I brought it up with, was that a template could/should be created which would be placed at the beginning of these older GA's. Something like: "This Good article could use your help! This GA simply needs a little bit of user dedication to meet the new GA requirements, specifically: 1. (reason, ex Sourcing) 2. (another reason, if it's necessary) 3. and so forth. Your help would be appreciated!" As for handling the current GA page, it's been discussed before that one or two dedicated Admins and/or current Inq's are all that is required. So, between myself, GreenTentacle, X-wing328, we've got the administrative stuff handled. However, I would like to extend a special job to you, if you'd be willing to accept: If I created the said template, would you be up to the task of going through some/the majority of the older GA's and tag them with what needs to be done? Like I said, from the two dozen or so I've looked through, it appears that it's just sourcing. The reason I'm asking you, specifically, is that you've proven yourself in the past to be reliable and trustworthy to do a job correctly. If you could let me know either on my talk page, or via IRC, it would be appreciated. Thanks! Cheers, Greyman(Paratus) 15:03, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Re: Regarding original research
BtS are fine for original research as long as it is referenced and is somewhat relevant to the article in question. In the article in question, you're fine. Nice job, Greyman(Paratus) 05:19, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
Response
Fanon pictures like that are alright, so long as they aren't added to articles. Either it'll be put on a user page, or it'll eventually be deleted as an unused image. -LtNOWIS 06:19, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
- "Eventually," as in, I already took care of it. Fanon pictures don't really have a place here except on a user page (in which case they should be tagged with Template:User-image). jSarek 06:41, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
