- Hey everybody, I'm new to Wookieepedia. Signed up Valentines Day. I'm working on the article for radionics. Anyone read the Corellian Trilogy? Which book did Lando give the radionics set to Tendra in? Ryluk Shouja 10:05, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- Never mind, I found it myself. --Ryluk Shouja(Bounty Hunters Guild)11:27, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
Superscript tags
I'm just dropping by to point out that you have a second superscript tag in your signature, rather than a close superscript tag (a instead of a ). Definitely something you want to look into fixing. ;-) jSarek 10:29, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- Never mind, it seems you've already cleared it up yourself, since your newer posts aren't making things funky like they were on Boba Fett's talk page. Carry on. :-) jSarek 10:31, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
Cannon
As I'm new, I don't know all the lingo. What's G-cannon, and what's C-cannon?
- Star Wars canon should have the answers you seek. -- I need a name (Complain here) 12:52, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Categories and subcategories
In the categories, are all the subcategories on each page, or are they on the page their letters are on? Example: see Category:Personal Weapons and its talk page. --Ryluk Shouja 20:15, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
- They should be all on the page if they are a subcategory, but I'm not sure I understand the question or exactly what you're asking on the Category:Personal Weapons talk page. What you're doing now is legit though. If lightsabers is a subcat of personal weapons, then no, it shouldn't have the category personal weapons on there as well. If you want to be more specific and make extra categories to specify personal weapons, then by all means feel free. Oh, and sorry all these responses are coming so late. Cull Tremayne 11:25, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
- It used to be that the first few subcategories (like blaster rifles, blaster pistols, and flechette weapons) were on the first page, and the rest of the categories (melee weapons, rifles, and pistols to name a few) were on the next page. It was really confusing, even for me, who has used Wookieepedia for quite a while. That's what spurred my recategorization, that and the fact that I scrolled through the things and saw every BlasTech weapon I recognized (and some I didn't) sitting there, even though we had very clear categories right above. There were so many articles that they were pusing the rest of the subcategories off the screen! If you want to help, I'll be doing this to all the categories I can, starting with the weapons and vehicles pages.--Ryluk Shouja(Bounty Hunters Guild)12:32, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
Sources vs Appearances
- What's the difference? --Ryluk Shouja(Bounty Hunters Guild)11:27, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
- Sources are generally sourcebooks which state "facts" about the universe. These are usually represented by OOU articles in Insider and the WEG and WOTC sourcebooks. Appearances usually refers to stories or tales told IU. These are represented by the films, books, and comics released that continue the story off of the films. Cull Tremayne 11:18, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you.--Ryluk Shouja(Bounty Hunters Guild)12:32, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

Categorization complaints
The categorization of some of the articles is horrendous. Some of the categories (example: personal weapons category) have masses of articles at the bottom while there are perfecly clear subcategories at the top. I'm working on Category:Personal weapons right now, but I'm willing to accept any help anyone is willing to give.--Ryluk Shouja(Bounty Hunters Guild)17:27, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
Blaster categorization
Okay, so all blasters are categorized that way, but that's a very messi and redundant way of categorizing them. The categorization of all blaster rifles should be changed then. KEJ 09:49, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
- To be perfectly honest with you, I agree. But before you go and recategorize the blasters, please help me clean up the personal weapons page. It's so very much more efficient if we work on one category first. We can work on blaster weapons next, if you want.--Ryluk Shouja(Bounty Hunters Guild)10:23, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, I already recategorized all the blaster rifles before I saw this message. Sorry. I'll have a look at the personal weapons category now. KEJ 10:36, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
- That's ok. Please, before you proceed too much further, I started a forum about the categorization of blasters, because I know that people will object to the way that you're doing it right now.--Ryluk Shouja(Bouny Hunters Guild)10:49, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, but that's the only logical way unless they want a lot of redundant categories. There's no point in categorizing, say, blaster carabine X as a blaster carabine, a blaster rifle, a blaster weapon, and a personal weapon when they're all subcategories within each other. KEJ 10:54, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
- I wholeheartedly agree with you, but others won't.--Ryluk Shouja(Bouny Hunters Guild)10:56, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Subcategorization
Making subcategories is pretty simple. Go to the category page X. Click "edit". Then you just write [[Category:blablablabla]], "blablablabla" being the name of the category you want category X to be a subcategory of. So it's just like categorizing ordinary articles really. KEJ 11:03, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
- BTW, blaster pistols and blaster rifles are already categorized as personal weapons. I don't know if blaster weapons should be categorized as personal weapons though, since blaster cannons are mounted on vehicles and stuff and thus not really categorizable as personal weapons. KEJ 11:05, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, sorry, I wasn't thinking straight. Thanks for the subcategorization info. Carbines is under rifles; we need not add that one. I was thinking of adding projectile weapons and taking out blaster rifles and blaster pistols and just putting in "blaster weapons", but as you mentioned, blaster cannons aren't exactly personal weapons. What do you think of adding personal weapons to the subcategories? --Ryluk Shouja(Bounty Hunters Guild)12:38, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
- I think the distinction between 'blaster pistol' and 'blaster rifle' should remain since there is also such a distinction IU (as in Galaxies which distinguishes between 'pistols', 'carbines' and 'rifles'). I think 'blaster rifles' and 'blaster pistols' should be/remain (depending on their present status) subcategories of 'personal weapons', but 'blaster weapons' should not be subcategorized as 'personal weapons' due to the existence of blaster cannons. KEJ 12:41, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, typo. I meant, "projectile weapons" to the subcategories. This would include slugthrowers. --Ryluk Shouja(Bounty Hunters Guild)12:49, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
- I wouldn't categorize the "projectile weapons" category as personal weapons since it also subsumes "tensile weapons" such as catepults. "slugthrowers" on the other hand would probably be a good candidate for personal weapons. KEJ 12:55, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
- Sounds good to me. I wasn't thinking about catapults. --Ryluk Shouja(Bounty Hunters Guild)19:45, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Well...
Hey,Im thinking of waiting awhile.Everyone think's it is a bad idea. Troyb 00:22, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not against the idea, I'm just curious as to what you are going to put in it. If it's created, I will fully support you and write articles for the novels. --Ryluk Shouja(Bounty Hunters Guild)00:52, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- I was thinking of the wiki to be simular to wookieepedia,Have a user of the month and all that But I really hav not thought about that.If they create it do you want to be a admin?Could you help if they say yes because I will need alot of help. Troyb 01:00, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yes I will help with the books listed on my userpage. I can't really help with much more than that, but those books should keep me busy for a while. And you still didn't answer my question: will the articles be about the whole plot of the book or just like what is says on the back? --Ryluk Shouja(Bounty Hunters Guild)01:07, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- The plot mostly, but I'm going to need an admin on my side to start this thing. Also please visit my talk page to see my logo. Troyb 12:45, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- Thank's,but it was created by joker1138. Troyb 13:29, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
Hello
If your username is Ryluk Shouja, and you are also kurly, can I call you Kurly Aujohs, never mind. Gyasz Kudeb 17:19, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
- Or you could call me Kurly Joshua, which is where I got the name from. I'm surprised no one picked that up until now. Amazing. --Ryluk Shouja(Bounty Hunters Guild)22:26, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
