Stuffed Bantha

Holy crap! I was wondering if an article like Stuffed bantha would actually be allowed here! The guys at wikipedia would consider that a joke. Actually, I put it up as one, not believing that even the star wars wiki would want it. Truly amazing that it was allowed to stay! Adamwankenobi 06:35, 15 Sep 2005 (UTC)

  • Lumpy's toy is an iconic element of the first Star Wars sequel, and it was a crucial token in the biography of a beloved secondary character. Since this object was actually built and filmed, it is arguably a lot more "real" than most of the items that were only invented (textually) in later generations of printed, spin-off works. Hlaano

Rifs, there's a character in the Wiki, one Jedi Senator Ralen Hlaano (spelling?) whose canonicity I wish to challenge. Please check it out.

This user has placed sexual profanity on articles Sian Jeisel and Galdos Stouff. I have reverted them, but you should consider blocking him. -- SFH 23:54, 17 Sep 2005 (UTC)

  • Consider? The guy must get kicked out immediately! --Master Starkeiller 09:54, 18 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Trouble logging in

Hi Riff, I can't seem to log in to Star Wars Wiki. I enter my details on the login page, and then it says i'm logged in, but when I go to another page i'm automatically logged out again. This is happening from both my home and work computers. Is there anything you can do? Cheers --Azizlight 23:38, 20 Sep 2005 (UTC)

  • Do you have your cookies working, because that's how I'm logged on now. Maybe the reason yours is screwed up is if you're telling it to remember you on two computers, but I don't know if that's the case. The site, including the rest of Wikicities, has also been extremely slow last night but has since speeded up. In addition we were vandalized by pirates on Talk Like A Pirate Day, with the logo being Pirateopedia. -- Riffsyphon1024 21:09, 20 Sep 2005 (EDT)
    • Everything's under control, situation normal :-) Thanks Riff, seems like it's decided to start working again.--Azizlight 06:06, 21 Sep 2005 (EDT)

Re: Insider 84

Righto. I'll lay off the Insider updates for a while. Kuralyov 23:56, 20 Sep 2005 (EDT)

How do you put up a canon warning? -Xilentshadow900 19:20, 23 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Sith Empire a Sector?

Is it accurate to list the Sith Empire as the sector for Korriban, Ziost, and Thule? I realize that we have no idea of the sector name the unholy triad are found in, but the First Sith Empire was all over the Outer Rim. -- SFH 23:58, 24 Sep 2005 (UTC)

  • I wouldn't consider it a sector unless it was recognized as one by the Galactic Republic. -- Riffsyphon1024 00:12, 25 Sep 2005 (UTC)
    • In addition I would leave it as a government region. -- Riffsyphon1024 00:25, 25 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Death Star II

  • Edit war in process on this page. Can we get it locked? QuentinGeorge 00:20, 25 Sep 2005 (UTC)
    • 66.189.171.19 has also been deleting links and references to stardestroyer.net in other articles. It might be better to just block him. --Vermilion 00:38, 25 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Force categorization

I saw you mentioned on Sparq's talk page that you would like to see me begin implementing my proposed categorization scheme as soon as possible. I've been waiting eagerly to begin this process, but I was under the impression that it was at a standstill because of the character categorization issues. Should I go ahead and begin while the current character structure is still in place? That would certainly speed things up. – Aidje talk 06:02, 25 Sep 2005 (UTC)

  • Yes go ahead. I would appreciate that something got done. -- Riffsyphon1024 06:03, 25 Sep 2005 (UTC)
  • Sweet. I've got quite a bit of homework at the moment, but I'll definitely get cracking on re-categorizing as soon as I can. – Aidje talk 18:09, 25 Sep 2005 (UTC)

reply to your message

I'm so sorry, I had no idea you could resize them like that. I was looking for a way to do so, but I oculdn't figure it out. I didnt mean to spam the site with images of the same thing, it's just that I didn't know how to remove them either. -- Xilentshadow900 02:31, 27 Sep 2005 (UTC)

  • Err, I can't delete images... Xilentshadow900 02:38, 27 Sep 2005 (UTC)
    • Right, I've cleaned things up, and the ones that need to be deleted are:
  • File:Bts bg.jpg
  • File:CCp1s.JPG
  • File:CCp1.JPG
  • File:Dc15.JPG
  • File:Skytrooper.JPG
  • File:Clonep12.JPG
  • Again, I'm really sorry about this.

Jundland Waste (Sandbox)

  • Firstly, thanks for "raking the waste" on the Sandbox page, but could you do it a little more irrugularly. Leaving more time in between rakes. its just we need new users to see what can be done on SWW in terms of editing. Thanks -- Jasca Ducato 20:57, 28 Sep 2005 (UTC)
    • Of course I'll rake more 'irrugularly'. -- Riffsyphon1024 23:17, 28 Sep 2005 (UTC)

This guy has made several profane edits to the ROTS page and made several nonsense articles. He should be banned. Kuralyov 13:33, 3 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Category population

About how many articles are required to remove the request tag from underpopulated categories? I've been working on the Armor section and wanted to know about how many more pieces of armor I have to add before it's considered "populated". Shadowtrooper talk 03:17, 4 Oct 2005 (UTC)

  • About 5-10 depending on the subject matter. -- Riffsyphon1024 14:45, 4 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Block

I just got on my computer to find that I have been blocked. It said that I used vulgarity. I never used vulgarity on here. And why are you banning me after all this time? I said I was sorry. I don't know why you won't leave it alone anymore. I promise that I will never do that again.(Prince Xizor 05:03, 4 Oct 2005 (UTC))

  • I haven't be on the wiki today, until now and I haven't blocked you. Maybe you need to ask one of the other four admins. -- Riffsyphon1024 14:46, 4 Oct 2005 (UTC)

I'm sorry. It said that you blocked me.Prince Xizor 03:08, 6 Oct 2005 (UTC)

  • Hmm, that's interesting. Well don't do it again, or I will lay down my wrath upon you. -- Riffsyphon1024 18:21, 7 Oct 2005 (UTC)

This user keeps removing a quote from the clone trooper page that he deems unimportant apparently. suggest ban. Xilentshadow900 18:09, 15 Oct 2005 (UTC)

68.160.38.145

This user keeps vandilizing talk pages and posting negative comments. I suggest ban.

  • I support the suggestion of a ban. StarNeptune 00:04, 17 Oct 2005 (UTC)
  • I gave him a warning earlier today. I don't think a ban is warranted just yet. This seems to be more a case of n00bism than of vandalism. He'll probably either learn or leave of his own will. – Aidje talk 05:12, 18 Oct 2005 (UTC)

68.163.202.252

Anon # 68.163.202.252 should be banned for vandalism. Thanks in advance, — Silly Dan 00:59, 18 Oct 2005 (UTC)
