Gotab/Bardan Jusik

it has been revealed that the characters Gotab and Bardan Jusik are the same person and i think that someone needs to merge their articles. This has been known for a while, yet nothing has happened, so i was wondering if you would be able to help. • Tom, you really need to be doing this on the article's talk page, not on the talk pages of administrators who might be busy with other projects. However, you could also be bold and merge them yourself if you have sufficient proof that they are the same person. • At the time I was hoping for the possibility, because of the news of the companies wanting to work on it. However, now that more information points to it being false, I do not continue to support it. Deleting the admin skin

• I think this is a misunderstanding. I did not delete anything at all. The same happened to Xwing328 when he tried it out and changed his back. All I did was change my preferences and back. Apparently the system thinks we are deleting what we choose not to use, however the site itself is running on the new setting, that is unless you choose to stick to Monobook. Try it out for yourself to see what I mean. You will have to check and later uncheck "custom wikis". -- Riffsyphon1024 03:52, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Project Wormhead, March edition

A message from the project manager Rolling along withProject Wormhead. March rolled around fast for us, and I've been taking stock of the progress so far. A lot has happened, and I want to thank anyone who's contributed so far. You all are making this dream a possibility. For those of you who haven't yet gotten a chance to work on Wormhead, please do so. This project is only possible if everyone helps, and so if you can pitch in, please do. Despite the progress, we are still a little behind (and part of that is my fault-I hope to catch up in March), but it's nothing we can't recover from. This month is originally set for working on non-canon sources, Marvel, and I need one brave soul with the Holiday Special, some time, and a strong stomach to get the info from that if at all possible. However, don't let that stop you from contributing wherever you can and see fit. We also now have a bit of a sandbox to play with for the project: User:Atarumaster88/Wormhead Reloaded. I thank you all again for your commitment and am looking forward to a productive month. Mailing list

Hey, Riff. I've set up a private administrator mailing list to help coordinate the current administrators of the site, and I am attempting to contact each administrator to get them to subscribe. You can subscribe here. My point with setting up this mailing list to get all of the administrators of Wookieepedia operating on the same page, and in a more unified fashion. Regardless of any personal differences that may exist between some members, I still feel that it is important that we are all operating on the same level, with regards to knowledge of the site, and new/upcoming stuff that is going to happen—so, basically, this is an attempt to coordinate us all in an effort to help keep us on the same page with regards to new policies, new ideas, announcements, discussions, etc. In my opinion, we're all on the same team and this will only help us to be a more organized and cohesive working unit—even more so than we currently are. I've already spoken with a few admins via IRC, and they have liked my point of this whole thing, and have thus signed up—I would really appreciate it you could do likewise :) Any questions about this, you know where you can reach me. Dumb image request...

I don't suppose you happen to have (or know the user who has) the full-size origonal pic of the humping AT-ATs? I'm tempted to use 'em in my sig on another forum. If you don't have the pic of just the AT-ATs, I can easily crop the ones outta the banner, no problem. I'd figure I'd ask, though, as a higher-res image would scale down alot better. April edition

A message from the project manager Continuing on Project Wormhead! Hello again! It's April, and that means it's time for an update. I avoided doing this on April 1st because of all the craziness going on, but here we are. There's no denying that we're behind. I'm very busy in RL and juggling several wiki-related projects also, so I haven't been contributing as much either. That's okay, though, as long as we catch up (i.e. summer, as a lot of folks will be out of school and all that.) There's also a new way to contribute, and something that everyone can do. Since we don't have a timeline of appearance/sources yet, I started one on the second page. I didn't give it a very large list to start with, so fill in the gaps whenever you see them. If someone wants to start doing a similar segment for sources, that'd be great. I hope that we'll get back on course with the expansions soon, but regardless, let's see how April plays out. Question about anonymous users

I just went to Wikipedia when I got a messsage. I don't have an account on Wikipedia, so I'm an anonymous user. I don't make edits on that site anyways. Anyways, I got a message from a user on Wikipedia who was warning me about vandalism and how I vandalized the article "Point source pollution." However, I have never vandalized in my life nor have I visited that article before I received the message. My IP address (if that's what it's called) is currently 71.134.254.107. The contribution page doesn't show the few contributions I have made on Wikipedia. So, I must ask if the IP address is shared by different people, not only one person. Therefore, someone else previously using 71.134.254.107 vandalized, while I didn't. If this is so, then I don't understand what is the point of blocking some anonymous users since different users would be using that IP address. Marco Lam 20px^(Contact) 04:32, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

A message from the project manager A belated update on Project Wormhead Project Wormhead! Sorry about the delay in getting this out. I was on vacation at the beginning of the month and forgot about it. First, let me thank a number of people for their efforts on the project this past month: Greyman, for his work on the Marvel expansions. Jaina Solo added information from Star Wars Union, and a couple other people have made smaller edits as well. That's very encouraging and I thank all of you for your help. For the moment, I have to say that Luke isn't my priority at the moment-I'm working pretty hard on finishing Wraith Squadron, but once that's done, I will be back to work . In other news, Project Wormhead has now surpassed the actual Luke Skywalker article in content and will soon pass up Palpatine. It'll probably take us another month to pass up Mr. Horn, though. A message from the project manager The latest on Project Wormhead! It's summer and that means, at least for me, that a lot of things need to happen over the next couple months if Luke is going to be a GA this year. I don't even entertain any notions of FA, because there's simply too many obscure/minor appearances and sources. I will be working heavily on the novels, and I know others are focusing on comics, games, and whatever those Missions things fall under. Thanks Xwing. For this month, I'm going to hammer out the rest of the Young Jedi Knights series first and then progress to the Bantam novels whenever I get to them. That means if you want to work on a Bantam novel, it probably should be done this month. ;-) I hope everyone enjoys their summer and finds a chance to participate. • 1) The sandbox, known here as the Jundland Wastes is a place for users to test their wiki skills before using templates and the like.

  2) Users do not go by ranks on Wookieepedia. Even status as an administrator does not make one user more important or better than another.

  3) Being friends is not the goal of this wiki, although users do collaborate on projects.

• Hmm, that I created right as Episode III was being released. I can only say I created it because the three classes of fighters were so similar and all came from the same company for the same side of the same war. A little help please

Hey, I was recently blocked by User:Darth Culator for allegedly falsifying images sources. Now, if I did so it was out of ignorance on my part, and if he thinks otherwise he has not answered my several pleas for an explanation. Now, I do not want to complain about him or anything; it could be that he has not been online or whatever, but I have also received no information after I posted on the Admin's board. Hello, I am Kgrimes2. I have only contributed to Wookieepedia for a couple of months now, and I noticed you know HTML on your userpage. On my User:Kgrimes2 page, I have some userboxes that are, well, oversized. The problem occurs when I insert an image. Here is an example of one of my custom userboxes:
Also... when I insert a custom userbox, it just messes up! This text is to the right of the userbox... could you type up some instructions?
