Personal image gallery
I just thought I'd let you know that some time ago, a policy was adopted that no longer allows personal image galleries on user pages. Just thought I'd let you know so you have the opportunity to remove the gallery on yours before an admin does it. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 12:31, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for the image gallery tip. Does that mean that all personal images will be removed, and if not, what is the use of deleting the galleries? PaleoJazzDopo Mee Gusha, Peedunky? (copied from JMAS's talk page)
- You can have 3 personal images (images not used anywhere else in the main Wookieepedia namespace) displayed throughout your user page and user sub-pages. But they cannot be displayed in a gallery like that. If you take a look at my user page, you'll see I have two user images. One in my infobox, and then another to the right a little farther down the page. Also, you'll also need to adjust your personalized signature. The Signature policy stipulates that any image used in your signature can be no more than 20px in height. Yours is currently displaying at 40px in height. To get yours down to policy guidelines, you'll need to set the width down from 50px to 25px. At 25px, your image will be exactly 20px in height. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 12:49, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
American English
It's mandated as such in Wookieepedia's Manual of Style here. I'm British, so it's caused a little confusion in the past (which is why I made the comment during the undo edit :P). Basically, American English is the standard, and other spelling variations will be amended to this style. Sorry for any inconvenience. - Cavalier One20px(Squadron channel) 13:09, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
