Fanon RPG Scenarios, Or Are They?
There have been 3 major Star Wars RPG campaigns I have conducted, based upon canon ideals and non-canon, of course. The chiefest of these was Legacy of the Dark Jedi. LotDJ was based upon the scenario that in actuality, an ancient alien device found on Yavin 4 introduced a high amount of midichloriens into human fetuses and embryos in abducted females. The machine was decidedly Dark Side, and thought it made excellent Forse Sensitives, it often gave them a dark taint.
The machine was originally used by Naga Sadow, but the results were never easily manipulated for Sith uses, and it was eventually abandoned. The machine lay dormant until being discovered by two Jedi Knights some 100 years before the Clone Wars. Other properties of the machine seemed to also infuse Force Sensitive droids, which were in shape almost like androids, and made highly dangerous assassins/protectors. The Jedi Knights who discovered the machine awoke the Dark Side of it and began to question the ethics of the Jedi Council. They believed strongly that a new regime of Jedi was needed (Syfo-Dias was one of these Jedi). The machine's induction of midichloriens also allowed advanced cloning methods, and it was these methods introduced to the Kaminoans as a basis for the Clone Army. It was alleged that even Darth Plagueis used the machine to create Anakin Skywalker. The machine was destroyed by a groups of young padawans who turned out to be lost embryos themselves.
