CSWE check
Hey, Jonathan. Could you please check if Jaru is mentioned in the CSWE? Thanks, QuiGonJinn 20px(Talk) 20:55, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
- Not mentioned at all. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 21:15, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
Green Goblin
Hello sir,
Can you run through Minch when you have a moment? Same terms apply, thanks in advance.—Tommy9281 17px (Talk) 21:36, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
- Done. I noticed a lot of unnecessary en dashes throughout the article. In the future, keep in mind that en dashes should not be used for hyphenating except when dealing with compound words and word combinations (e.g. "green-bladed", "bluish-green–bladed"; "anti-Republic", "anti–Galactic Republic"). Let me know if you have any questions. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 22:11, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
- Lol thanks, I did that in anticipation of you. I'll leave it to you next time, sorry.—Tommy9281 17px (Talk) 22:15, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
CSWE check (Cutup)
Cutup got his nickname because he loved to mess around while on duty and have fun. Could you please check if this is stated in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia. --Clone Commander Lee Talk 19:55, September 1, 2009 (UTC)
- No, it is not. Here is the entire entry: "A clone trooper rookie serving at the Rishi moon during the Clone Wars, he was killed and eaten by a Rishi eel." That's it. Let me know if you have any further questions. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 19:58, September 1, 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks, Master Jonathan. --Clone Commander Lee Talk 09:17, September 11, 2009 (UTC)
Creating pages from the search page
Hey Jon. I noticed your edits to the sandbox and thought I'd let you know you can still use the search page to create articles. With the upgrade the redlink doesn't appear on the first search attempt anymore but on the second. So search for say "hello", and then press search again and the redlink at the top with the "hello (all pages starting with "hello" | all pages that link to "hello")" part should appear :-). Grunny (Talk) 22:16, September 5, 2009 (UTC)
- Ah. I see that now. Thanks for letting me know, and I'll remember that in the future. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 23:05, September 5, 2009 (UTC)
QOTD
The episode guide is inaccurate. I have the audio file directly from the aired episode. So what they have on the episode guide may have been scripted at one time, but it was changed for the aired episode. It's no different than a deleted scene. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 18:18, September 15, 2009 (UTC)
Copyedits
Hey, Jonathan. Can you copyedit Waxer and Boil? A CSWE check would be nice too. Big thanks in advance. QuiGonJinn 20px(Talk) 18:38, September 15, 2009 (UTC)
- Copyedits are done, and there's nothing in the CSWE on either one of them. Let me know if you have any questions. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 19:33, September 15, 2009 (UTC)
Re:QOTD
The line was cut from the episode, however, it is in Lightsaber Duels. JangFett Talk 18:51, September 15, 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 18:57, September 15, 2009 (UTC)
Request
Evacuation of Rychel please, when you have time. I tried to clean up most of the improper comma usage, but I'm not nearly as much of a pro as you. Same terms as usual, and thanks in advance.—Tommy9281 17px (No truth in me) 04:23, September 18, 2009 (UTC)
- Done. In the future, remember that the term "Vong" by itself is not only slang, but can also be considered POV, since the term is used only by their opponents and is seen as derogatory by the Yuuzhan Vong themselves. Otherwise, excellent job with the commas. :D Let me know if you have any further questions. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 02:11, September 19, 2009 (UTC)
Another CSWE request
Could you please check if there is a big entry of Gizor Dellso in the CSWE ? --Clone Commander Lee Talk 19:03, September 18, 2009 (UTC)
- Just one paragraph that only contains very basic information already in his article. Depending on what you're doing, the only thing of interest would be that his last name is spelled Dellso, as there has been some confusion over the spelling. Let me know if you have any questions. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 01:30, September 19, 2009 (UTC)
- I plan to work at him. Could you possible say what exact info stands in CSWE ? --Clone Commander Lee Talk 10:40, September 19, 2009 (UTC)
- "A Geonosian Separatist who refused to surrender after the Clone Wars. As the holder of stolen plans for an experimental Imperial starfighter, Dellso needed protection while he calculated his next move. He reactivated a hidden droid factory on Mustafar. The 501st Legion was sent to bring Dellso to justice. These elite troopers tore through the factory, destroying the last stubborn vestiges of the droid army." There's the whole entry; let me know if you need anything else. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 04:24, September 20, 2009 (UTC)

Talk pages
Please watch your tone and what you say when commenting on talk pages. If someone makes a spelling error, big deal. Get over it. We all make mistakes. What we don't need is a know-it-all going around policing talk pages making sure to rub it in the face when someone makes a gaffe. This is pretty rude, if I may say so myself. And I certainly would have taken offense to it were I on the receiving end. I'm giving you a new motto to edit by: "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all." Toprawa and Ralltiir 04:36, September 28, 2009 (UTC)
Disciples of Twilight
Could you please copy-edit and give me a pre-nom review? After all the objections are taken care of, I would also like a word-count, to determine whether I can nom it for an FA or GA. Thanks.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 21:52, October 9, 2009 (UTC)
- Copyedit complete. Here are my objections:
"Disciples" and "Disciples of Twilight" are extremely repetitive throughout the article; see if you can replace some instances with pronouns.- I believe it's taken care of.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 16:12, October 10, 2009 (UTC)
In both intro and body, you state as a fact that "Twilight" was a former Jedi, but the source says only that she was "rumored to have been a former Jedi". This needs to be clarified.- My mistake. Corrected.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 16:12, October 10, 2009 (UTC)
The BTS states that they were presented as a prestige class, but the group was actually presented simply as a new Force tradition with no associated prestige class; this should be corrected.- Corrected.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 16:12, October 10, 2009 (UTC)
The last sentence of the first paragraph in the "Philosophy and techniques" section seems more like history information and is already present in that section; is there a reason for having it here also?- Not really, removed.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 16:12, October 10, 2009 (UTC)
- Current word count is 658, so I don't see any chance at FA here. Let me know when you've taken care of these or if you have any questions. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 02:32, October 10, 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for the copy-edit, as soon as these objections are satisfied, I'll nom it for the GA's. Thanks once again.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 16:12, October 10, 2009 (UTC)
- One thing, is a {{DEFAULTSORT}} tag needed for articles, such as this one and the Seyugi Dervishes, that have only one category?--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 16:32, October 10, 2009 (UTC)
- If you only have one category, it doesn't matter whether you use {{DEFAULTSORT}} or simply pipe the category if you need to sort by something other than the pagename. However, here you want to sort it as "Disciples of Twilight", which is the pagename, so neither is needed, as the default in absence of DEFAULTSORT or category piping is to sort by {{PAGENAME}}. All the objections look to be satisfied; let me know if you have further questions. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 00:02, October 11, 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks, man. Nomed it for the GA's.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 03:02, October 12, 2009 (UTC)

Uthar Wynn
I would also like a copy-edit of and obbjections to this article. I don't feel a word-count is needed, I think there's enough words for a FA nom. I plan to nom it as soon as one of my other noms are awarded FA status. I know the article needs more images, but I'm working on that.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 16:32, October 10, 2009 (UTC)
- Copyedit complete. Here are my objections:
"However, during his training, Onasi developed a relationship with Selene. However, compared to Onasi, Selene was not as powerful of a student.": "However" is repetitive.- Taken care of.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 03:14, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
It would probably be a good idea to split the intro into two paragraphs.- How does it look now?--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 03:14, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
- That's really all I can see; the Inqs will probably see more. Word count before the copyedit was around 1,700, so it's well into FA range. Let me know if you have any questions. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 01:03, October 11, 2009 (UTC)
- Alright, thanks. Like I said, I won't nom it for a while. I've got bigger things to worry about.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 03:14, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
- Looks good now. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 01:03, October 13, 2009 (UTC)
One more copyedit…
Could you do a copy-edit, word-count, and provide a list of objections to Shasa? Thanks. After I take care of your objections, I'd like a final word-count, too.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 18:13, October 16, 2009 (UTC)
- Copyedit complete. Here are my objections:
"Revan found Galas, who gave Revan a token that he had given Shasa as a child.":Who does "he" refer to? As it stands, it's unclear.- I think it's fixed.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 15:16, October 17, 2009 (UTC)
If the token was given to Shasa earlier, how did it end up back in Galas's possession so he could give it to Revan? Please clarify.- This is never clarified, so I can't speculate on how he ended up back with it, just that he did.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 15:16, October 17, 2009 (UTC)
This is more minor, but can you find a synonym for "give"? Currently, a form of that word is used twice in this sentence and once more two sentences later.- Done.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 15:16, October 17, 2009 (UTC)
"creating an organization known as the 'Order'.": Is there a reason for pipelinking here? Since this is the first mention of the Order of Shasa, and it's not a conjectural name, the full name should probably be used unless there's a specific reason not to.- The campaign guide states that when she created it, it was initially known as the Order, at a later date (unspecified) it became known as the Order of Shasa.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 15:16, October 17, 2009 (UTC)
- Fair enough. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 16:53, October 17, 2009 (UTC)

- Thanks once again, Jon.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 15:16, October 17, 2009 (UTC)
- Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't character articles with more than a couple categories supposed to get a {{DEFAULTSORT}} tag? Or is it just a suggestion rather than a mandatory?--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 15:28, October 17, 2009 (UTC)
- {{DEFAULTSORT}} is used to specify what name is used for the purpose of sorting the article within each category. It is used only when 1) the article needs to be sorted by something other than the pagename (example: Asajj Ventress should be sorted by her last name first, so she gets a {{DEFAULTSORT:Ventress, Asajj}}) AND 2) the article should be sorted the same in every category it is in. In the case of Shasa, you want it sorted in the categories under "S" for Shasa, which is the pagename, so a DEFAULTSORT tag would be redundant, since the MediaWiki software defaults to the pagename. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 16:53, October 17, 2009 (UTC)
- Got it. Just checking.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 18:56, October 17, 2009 (UTC)

- One more question, I asked about this image on Abel G. Peña's forum on Star Wars.com, and he pretty much confirmed it was Shasa, more or less, please take a look at it. This can go in the article, and the BTS, right?--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 15:34, October 17, 2009 (UTC)

- Will do, once again, thanks for your help.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 18:56, October 17, 2009 (UTC)
- Added in. I would appreciate a final word-count. Speaking of which, which program do you use for word-counts?--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 19:36, October 17, 2009 (UTC)
- 1,226 words, so good to go for FAN. All word counts for purposes of GAN/FAN rules are done in Microsoft Word. If you have Word, you can easily get the word count yourself by simply copying the entire article from the beginning of the intro through the end of the BTS into Word (do this from the main display, not from the edit box) and then deleting the TOC and all quotes, images, image captions, and section headers, leaving nothing but prose. After that, the word count returned by Word is the official word count. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 21:55, October 17, 2009 (UTC)

Hey. Could you do a copyedit and a CSWE check for Alfonso Luiz Obota. Thanks in advance. QuiGonJinn 20px(Talk) 21:13, October 21, 2009 (UTC)
- Done. CSWE has been added as a source, but there's no new information. Let me know if you have any questions. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 21:52, October 21, 2009 (UTC)
Hey Stranger
Hey Jon, it's been a while. I have some work for you though, whenever you've got a moment please. His name is Thannor Keth. Same terms as usual, thanks in advance.—Tommy9281 17px (No truth in me) 02:42, November 5, 2009 (UTC)
- Alright, done. I removed the reference to the Old Republic era from the intro, as that is purely an OOU publishing era. Any questions, drop me a line. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 03:21, November 5, 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for completing my last request. I have another one for you, Assault on Epsilon Nine. Same terms, thanks in advance.—Tommy9281 17px (No truth in me) 02:47, November 9, 2009 (UTC)
- Done. It should be ready to go at 1,140 words. As usual, let me know if you have any questions. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 20:17, November 9, 2009 (UTC)
Impact explosives
Impact explosives are just a category, they're not really mentioned in the Star Wars canon, but they form some sort of category (like knives, droids, etc) —Unsigned comment by Peralta (talk • contribs)
- In that case, if they're not explicitly mentioned in a canonical source as forming a specific group, then the group doesn't get an article. Assumptions made without a canonical source are Original Research, which is not allowed on Wookieepedia. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 00:08, November 11, 2009 (UTC)
- Ok, I'll keep it in mind the next time. My apologies Peralta 00:11, November 11, 2009 (UTC)

Also, keep in mind that IP addresses change occasionally; considering that this IP's last warning was eight months ago, it would probably be best to treat your warning as a first warning and report it only if the vandalism continues. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 23:25, November 16, 2009 (UTC)

Question
"Echo, and the remaining clone troopers, witness the destruction of the base." That's an image caption from CT-26-1409. I think that the use of comma isn't right, so I thought I'd ask you, since you're the comma expert :P Wouldn't the right versio be "Echo, and the remaining clone troopers witness the destruction of the base."? Thank you in advance, --Xd1358 Talk 19:24, November 18, 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, no commas should be used at all. The original caption treats "and the remaining clone troopers" as a parenthetical expression, but such phrases should be set off by commas only when they do not change the meaning of the sentence. This phrase does change the meaning by indicating that multiple clones watched it rather than only Echo, so it should not have commas at all. I went ahead and corrected the caption in the article. Let me know if you have any other questions. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 00:32, November 19, 2009 (UTC)
