Calo Nord

Could you please do a copy-edit of the article for me? Plus, could you give me a list of objections you have so that I can take care of them and nom if for a GA? Thanks.--Jedi Kasra (talk) 14:23, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

Oh, sorry. I put the new stuff up there without looking at the history. Please don't take any offense, it's not like I meant to delete your edits.--Jedi Kasra (talk) 22:09, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

  • No problem, I understand. Mistakes happen. Master JonathanJedi Council Chambers 22:59, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
  • Also, I actually plan on writing an article on Nord's parents, so.--Jedi Kasra (talk) 15:11, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
  • Plus, this is how the quote for "Jedi Civil War" appears in-game (took it from the dialogur files) A Jedi and a war hero - it's a wonder you survived the encounter.--Jedi Kasra (talk) 15:14, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
  • One other thing, do you think the article would be best served with two paragraphs in the intro, or is it fine as is?--Jedi Kasra (talk) 15:15, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
  • OK, I believe I've taken care of all of your objections. Please review and let me know.--Jedi Kasra (talk) 15:17, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
  • Thanks for giving me the quote template, I could not get it to work properly. I appreciate your help.--Jedi Kasra (talk) 16:15, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
  • OK. Taken care of.--Jedi Kasra (talk) 16:17, 8 May 2009 (UTC)

Hey Master Jonatan. Sorry to butt in here, but I saw your objections and I just wanted to point out a couple of things to you. The use of {{C}} in the infobox is fine. That is what I actually use, rather than parentheses. In my opinion it keeps things more tidy. So no, it isn't redundant, and if someone wants to use it, they can. Cylka-talk- 04:46, 8 May 2009 (UTC)

  • Sorry, I forgot to add that it does make the text a bit smaller. It is a small difference, but it is there. Plus, the use of templates is always a good idea, whenever possible. Cylka-talk- 04:50, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
    • Well, IMO it just increases the size of the article unnecessarily (though by a negligible amount), and I'm all for as few unnecessary characters as possible. However, if {{C}} is OK and that's what you prefer, then go ahead. I'll keep that in mind in the future. Master JonathanJedi Council Chambers 04:59, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
    • (edit conflict) I just took a screenshot of your version with {{C}}, pasted it into a paint program, and zoomed in 800%, and I saw no difference in size, measuring down to the pixel. I can post the zoomed screenshot if you want, but I don't see any difference. Master JonathanJedi Council Chambers 04:59, 8 May 2009 (UTC)

The Clone Wars novel

Hi Jon. I noticed that you've listed the Star Wars: The Clone Wars novel on your user page as part of your collection, and I'd like to request a favor. It's irritating me that there's still a debate going on if the Resolute, Hunter or Spirit of the Republic appeared in the film/novel, and it's irritating me because I can't check myself; I have yet to buy the book. Could you please check which is the Venator-class cruiser that appears during the Battle of Christophsis? There were several, one of which was the one that took Ahsoka Tano to Christophsis. Darth Paulus claims that it's the Resolute, and I'd like to confirm this. Could you please check the book for me? Thanks very much. CC7567 (talk) 16:08, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

  • It does indeed appear that it is the Resolute that delivers Ahsoka. Building on what Darth Paulus said on the talk page that you linked, Obi-Wan says near the end of chapter two upon first seeing Ahsoka, "What's that youngling doing here? Where's the ship? Where's Hunter?", implying that the Hunter is not the ship that brought Ahsoka. Furthermore, the tagline for the "offscreen" lead quote for chapter two reads "Master Yoda to Admiral Yularen, ordered to deliver Padawan Ahsoka Tano to General Kenobi". Since we know that Yularen is in charge of the Resolute—which is confirmed by the chapter three quote that Paulus pointed to—this seems to confirm that the Resolute delivered Ahsoka to Christophsis. If you have any more questions, just let me know. Master JonathanJedi Council Chambers 19:57, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

Master Jonathan, you're one of the most eloquent users on this site. You have a point to make and you really make it, demanding that everyone who reads your post gets it and lets it sink in a bit before they make their own decisions. That's why I am so grateful for your vote. It's incredible to see such a prodigious member of the New Guard coming out to support an old hand like myself. Thank you so much. Insider

Hey, Jonathan. I saw from that SH thread that you apparently have access to Insider 92. Would you happen to have access to Insider 91 as well? Toprawa and Ralltiir 05:26, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

  • Yes, I do. I have everything from 84 up. Let me know what you need and I'll look it up. Master JonathanJedi Council Chambers 06:26, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
    • The Tarkin superweapon appears within, as you will see in that article's source list. If you could perhaps scan or otherwise provide whatever information is in there on the Tarkin, that would be great. Thanks. :) Toprawa and Ralltiir 06:50, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
      • The Insider article only provides two sentences on the Tarkin, and here they are: "An exhaust port was the downfall of the Death Star, but why write off a planet-cracking superlaser because of a little oversight? Before a new Death Star took shape in Return of the Jedi, Marvel unveiled the Tarkin, which mounted the Death Star's superlaser on the hull of a giant warship." It also provides one picture, which is the comic panel already used here as the infobox image. Not much, but there it is. Master JonathanJedi Council Chambers 07:08, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Twi'lek Jedi

A while it has been, Jedi Master, since I have had need of your all-seeing eye. However, a need has arisen, and I respectfully request your talents exercised with my latest project, Tott Doneeta. As with our past interactions, please ignore the {{Inuse}} tag. Also, don't attack the BtS yet, as it is incomplete, though I expect it to be by the time you get that far anyway. Either way, I'll let you know. Thank you in advance for your efforts, I wish there were some other way to repay you besides cookies and pit droids;)Tommy9281 17px (No quarter given, all exits sealed) 02:15, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

Newsnet

Thanks Jonathan. A bit of an oversight! I've now added it to the blog. I'm glad to hear it is of use to you. --Eyrezer 03:03, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

Hey

Hey, I love Star Wars (since I was little). I found this sight after I got blocked for sabotaging Link's page on Zeldapedia. zelda sucks. My favorite SW is Boba Fett. Unsigned comment by Drunkenmaster55sh (talk • contribs)

  • Nice to see you on here. A few things to keep in mind:
    1. Please sign all comments on talk and forum pages with four tildes (like this: ~~~~); that way we can keep track of who says what.
    2. Sabotaging pages here (known here as "vandalism") will get you blocked here also, so don't do it. See our vandalism policy and blocking policy.
    3. Talk pages are meant to be used for discussing Wookieepedia, not general chit-chat.
  • As long as you keep these in mind (particularly number 2), we'd love to have you on here as a contributor! Master JonathanJedi Council Chambers 22:13, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

GAN

Thanks again for the review, Master Jonathan. I kind of feel I may have been a bit harsh in my responses to your objections, and if so, I do apologize. I appreciate you taking the time to look over my work and expressing your concerns. :) Toprawa and Ralltiir 06:26, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

Sorry

Sorry about that problem report thing. But just one tiny reminder; please tell your freinds not to delete my pages. I am really annoyed. Unsigned comment by 70.151.155.60 (talk • contribs)

  • As long as you continue to create pages that are purely game mechanics, they will keep getting deleted—simple as that. Asking or begging people to not delete your pages won't do you a bit of good—if they don't belong on here, they will be deleted. If you don't want to be annoyed, I suggest you stop creating articles that are nothing but game mechanics. If you keep it up, you will be blocked. Hey, MJ,

When you have time, can you work the kinks out of Sea Leviathan please? Thanks.Tommy9281 17px (No quarter given, all exits sealed) 02:34, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

Live-action TV series

It's called the Clone Wars, and is NOT live-action. At least, that's what I think the article was talking about.--B-Boba Fett! He'll kill us all! 18:11, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

TCW Campaign Guide

Hey Jonathan. I've noticed that you've listed The Clone Wars Campaign Guide on your user page as an item you own, and I was wondering if you could take a look in it for me. Does Rex have an entry, and if so, could you let me know of any info that might not have been referred to in any other TCW works or media? Thanks. CC7567 (talk) 23:57, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

  • Nevermind, JMAS was able to get it for me. Thanks anyway though. CC7567 (talk) 00:25, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

Good article nomination: Hig objection

Hello. You have voted the Hig GA nomination here but, I understand, agreeing with a previous objection I had given to the article. That objection has been dealt with to my satisfaction, but I did not strike it yet. If you want, you can check if the objection has been dealt with to your satisfaction too. Thank you, --Skippy Farlstendoiro 09:50, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
