Haako

Hey Jon, could you give Haako a copy-edit and review? Thanks in advance.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 17:44, July 12, 2012 (UTC)

Done, and once again I have no objections. :D Let me know if you have any questions. —MJ— Training Room Thursday, July 12, 2012, 20:16 UTC
Thanks once again, Jon.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 14:10, July 13, 2012 (UTC)

Wertram

Hello MJ. So, there's been more than two weeks since the [Wertam Garran confusion] and the EduCorps members haven't voted to reach a conclussion. Do you know what should be done next? --Seth danny (talk) 23:29, July 12, 2012 (UTC)

I left a message for an EC member to draw attention to it. The CA review page is largely ignored, and it's often necessary to poke EC members to get a resolution. I had actually forgotten about it myself. —MJ— War Room Friday, July 13, 2012, 03:20 UTC

Ori Garran

Just a quick question: Is the Ori Garran article in error as well? I was just wondering if I should put it on the review page.--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 13:23, July 13, 2012 (UTC)

Actually, yes it is. I missed that during the original discussion. —MJ— Training Room Friday, July 13, 2012, 13:56 UTC

CT

Hey, MJ. Your subcategorization CT has been archived as successful. I'll leave implementation up to you. Thanks. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 18:01, July 16, 2012 (UTC)

OK, thanks. There won't really be a dedicated effort to bring all categories into compliance, just as there wasn't (AFAIK) when the previous CT on this matter passed. It's more of a "fix it when you see it" thing or something for somebody to do when they're bored. That said, I might be able to work out a bot run to get the bulk of them. —MJ— War Room Monday, July 16, 2012, 18:20 UTC

Listehol Campaign

Could you give the Listehol Campaign a copyedit? Thanks, 501st dogma(talk) 20:21, July 17, 2012 (UTC)

Done. Let me know if you have any questions. —MJ— Jedi Council Chambers Wednesday, July 18, 2012, 14:22 UTC

Andalia

Could you give the Battle of Andalia a copyedit? Thanks, 501st dogma(talk) 20:26, July 19, 2012 (UTC)

Done. Notes:
  • Please check the Prelude quote: "and thatd kidnapped" is not right and I can't tell what it's supposed to say.
    • Fixed.
  • The correct spelling is "task force" (two words). "Taskforce" is not a word.
  • Links to Wikipedia articles should be formatted as interwiki links, not external link style. Just write it as a regular internal link and prefix the link target with wikipedia: like this: [[wikipedia:Bob Hope|Bob Hope]], which produces Bob Hope.
Let me know if you have any questions. —MJ— Training Room Friday, July 20, 2012, 17:33 UTC
Thanks, no questions! 501st dogma(talk) 17:52, July 20, 2012 (UTC)

Jor Torlin

Hey Jon, could you give Jor Torlin a copy-edit, pre-nom review, and word count? I think he might be over 1,000 words, but am not sure. I'll be nominating him and Haako together. Thanks in advance!—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 02:46, July 20, 2012 (UTC)

Done. Objections:
  • In the first paragraph of the bio, the context for the Sith–Imperial War should be with the first mention of the War in the first sentence of that paragraph.
  • "Corde brought the presence of two ships belonging to Galactic Alliance Admiral Gar Stazi and Fel Imperial Captain Mingo Bovark, respectively,": What do you mean by "brought the presence"?
    • Both taken care of, I believe. Thanks for your help, as always.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 17:46, July 20, 2012 (UTC)
Roughly 1,388 words right now. Let me know if you have any questions. —MJ— Training Room Friday, July 20, 2012, 17:33 UTC
Looks good to go now. —MJ— Jedi Council Chambers Friday, July 20, 2012, 17:55 UTC

Darth Vurik

Hey Jon, could you also give Darth Vurik a copy-edit and pre-nom review? I'm pretty sure he's under 1,000 words. Thanks in advance! Unsigned comment by Jedi Kasra (talk • contribs)

Crazy old lady

Could you give this old crone a copyedit? Thanks, 501st dogma(talk) 20:23, July 20, 2012 (UTC)

Done. A couple quick notes:
  • Category:Dimoks does not exist; it will need to be created.
  • The Legacy era is an OOU publishing era and thus cannot be used in the IU portions of an article.
Let me know if you have any questions. —MJ— Jedi Council Chambers Saturday, July 21, 2012, 18:25 UTC
Thanks for the copyedit. I'm creating the category now. 501st dogma(talk) 20:18, July 21, 2012 (UTC)

Wiki Coding

The problem is that i'm trying to create a banner for the mount and blade wiki but it just does not work. Fire-lord; Pyrokinetic Jedi If no one ever talks things out how can we have world peace? 01:51, July 27, 2012 (UTC)

*sigh* Please read this, and then explain in full detail exactly what you are trying to do and what's not working. A link to the page on which you are trying to put the banner together would also help. —MJ— Training Room Friday, July 27, 2012, 17:42 UTC

Dice

I merged an article someone had written on the story with my "Unidentified Karen Miller short story", which already existed, and the tidbit that it was from 45 ABY came from that article by some anon. I've never read the story myself as I don't collect Insider. You can contact Miller from her website for an explicit source. She's been great to me with that. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 21:28, July 27, 2012 (UTC)

OK, thanks. I'll try contacting her. —MJ— Training Room Friday, July 27, 2012, 21:36 UTC
Oh, sorry about replying here. I missed the notice at the top of the page. ^^' NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 21:43, July 27, 2012 (UTC)
Don't worry. You're not the only one that does that by far. :) —MJ— Holocomm Friday, July 27, 2012, 21:45 UTC
Email reply received and uploaded, and the article has been updated to reflect her statement. —MJ— Jedi Council Chambers Saturday, July 28, 2012, 12:56 UTC
Great! She's awesome for that sort of thing. I actually started her A Blight of Mages today. I'm excited! NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 04:58, July 29, 2012 (UTC)

Hume

Hey. Could you give Hume Tarl on my workbench a copyedit? Thanks, 501st dogma(talk) 23:44, July 28, 2012 (UTC)

Done. Note that your year calculation was off; six years before 4 ABY is 2 BBY, not 1 BBY. The source of your confusion may be that 0 BBY and 0 ABY were two parts of the same year, not two separate years. Let me know if you have any questions. —MJ— War Room Sunday, July 29, 2012, 18:52 UTC

Meetra Surik's Jedi Master

Hey Jon, could you give Meetra Surik's Jedi Master a copy-edit and review? Thanks in advance.—Jedi Kasra ("Indeed.") 19:49, July 31, 2012 (UTC)

Done. I only found one small thing to change during the copy-edit. Objections:
  • Is the information about Surik eventually being exiled relevant to her Master? Absent an explanation of why it belongs, I would lean towards removing it; it seems like fluff to get it eligible for GAN instead of CAN (it sits at 281 words right now).
  • Lamar's request to the Master for discipline seems like it should belong in the intro as well, as it's the only known action that directly involves her.
Taken care of both, I believe.—Jedi Kasra ("Indeed.") 00:43, August 1, 2012 (UTC)
How many words is it now, btw?—Jedi Kasra ("Indeed.") 00:44, August 1, 2012 (UTC)
Currently 375 words. —MJ— Training Room Thursday, August 2, 2012, 01:23 UTC
Otherwise, looks good, Let me know if you have any questions. —MJ— Training Room Tuesday, July 31, 2012, 21:35 UTC

Vrook Lamar's Padawan

Hey, Jon, could you also give Vrook Lamar's Padawan a copy-edit and review? Thanks in advance.—Jedi Kasra ("Indeed.") 02:14, August 1, 2012 (UTC)

Done, with no objections. You're sitting at just 210 words, so you're looking at CAN on this one. Let me know if you have any questions. —MJ— Council Chambers Thursday, August 2, 2012, 01:30 UTC
Thanks for your help again, Jon, with both articles.—Jedi Kasra ("Indeed.") 04:21, August 2, 2012 (UTC)

I just did that just now. Sorry about that. Trak Nar Ramble on 02:46, August 2, 2012 (UTC)

"A New Hope" Junior Novel

Hello Master Jonathan. I've seen that you own a copy of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope junior novel, and I wanted to know if you could chek something in it for me. I'm currently working on a "Royal Award Ceremony" article, but I couldn't find a copy of that book myself, only a brief preview. I suspect the last page of the junior novelization gives an account of the ceremony. Would you be so kind as to check it for me? Regards. --LelalMekha (talk) 20:38, August 2, 2012 (UTC)

Last two pages actually. :P Action-wise, it's completely identical to the movie, but being in text form allows it to give a little more detail. Namely ("quotes" are from narration):
  • Han wore "a clean shirt he'd been saving for a special occasion."
  • Chewbacca stopped on a lower step than Luke and Han because he "was uncomfortable with the situation".
That's it. Let me know if you have any further questions. —MJ— Training Room Friday, August 3, 2012, 04:36 UTC
  • Thank you, that's all I wanted to know. ;-) --LelalMekha (talk) 19:53, August 6, 2012 (UTC)

CC-8826

Hello, Jon, could you please give CC-8826 a copy-edit, review, and word count? I'm thinking he's over 1,000 words, but not sure.—Jedi Kasra ("Indeed.") 04:43, August 5, 2012 (UTC)

Done. One objection:
  • "The second figure was released in 2008 as part of the Saga Editions wave of the 30th Anniversary basic figure collection." The source, if I'm reading it right, says "Saga Legends". Which is correct?
Otherwise, good job. 1,209 words, so good for FAN. Let me know if you have any questions. —MJ— Holocomm Sunday, August 5, 2012, 21:28 UTC
Thanks for your help, Jon.—Jedi Kasra ("Indeed.") 23:46, August 5, 2012 (UTC)

Melvin Fett

Hey Jon, could you copy-edit and review Melvin Fett? Thanks in advance.—Jedi Kasra ("Indeed.") 04:41, August 8, 2012 (UTC)

Done with no objections. Let me know if you have any questions. —MJ— Holocomm Wednesday, August 8, 2012, 16:21 UTC

Hakagram Graush

Hello Master Jonathan. Would you be so kind as to do a review and copy-edit of the Hakagram Graush article, which I intend to GAN in the coming days? If you're busy for the time being, let me assure you this can wait. ;-) Regards. --LelalMekha (talk) 16:26, August 8, 2012 (UTC)

Done. Objections:
  • "Sith'ari" refers to a specific prophecy and a single, specific Sith Lord, namely Darth Bane, not to kings in general. See Sith'ari, in particular the BTS there, for more information. Please adjust the article to reflect this.
  • Since the picture of the murder depicts the wrong weapon, I believe it should be considered non-canon and thus be moved into the BTS where the error is explained. The caption should also then reflect the error.
  • The last two sentences of the BTS are unsourced speculation, which is a big no-no. The first of those two sentences can stand if it is reworded to simply state the similarity without attempting to draw any direct connection (i.e. "inspired by") between them. The last sentence is unsalvageable and needs to be removed altogether.
Otherwise, looks fine to me. Let me know if you have any questions. —MJ— Jedi Council Chambers Wednesday, August 8, 2012, 17:19 UTC
    • Thank you. I have no further questions. ;) I was obviously misled by the "Sith Kings" category in its former state—as far as the "Sith'ari" issue is concerned. --LelalMekha (talk) 17:28, August 8, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Shifts

Good point. Time to go fix... Trak Nar Ramble on 04:07, August 10, 2012 (UTC)

  • I went through the schedule a few times and moved some things around and nixed some shifts. I do plan to hang out at the table even when I'm not needed, so I'll be there at least off and on throughout the day, if anyone needs me to stand in while they run to the bathroom. Also, what about Thursday's dinner plans? Will those be after the convention hours or before? Trak Nar Ramble on 09:55, August 10, 2012 (UTC)
    • Looks like a good schedule now. Since I don't know anyone that eats "dinner" in the morning (unless they work third shift), I would assume evening. :P I believe the plan right now is to check in with Eric once we get down there to set a place and exact time. —MJ— Council Chambers Saturday, August 11, 2012, 00:43 UTC

Maladian

Hey, could you give Maladian a copyedit if you have time? Thanks, 501st dogma(talk) 21:14, August 10, 2012 (UTC)

Sorry, but I'm going to have to decline this one. I'm getting close to leaving for Florida and need to focus on that, so I don't have time for copy-edits at the moment. It will be a little over a month before I will be able to take copy-edit requests again. —MJ— Jedi Council Chambers Saturday, August 11, 2012, 00:51 UTC
