SClaus.PNG
Hi, I noticed you tagged SClaus.PNG with Imagequality and was wondering if you had any tips for a better version of the image, if I don't have the TPB and that's as high-quality as my scanner gets. Should I use a 90x90 non-resized version instead, or wait for someone with a better scanner to replace it? Thanks, —Milo Fett[Comlink] 18:16, July 17, 2011 (UTC)
- Scratch that, it turns out it goes up to 600 dpi after all. I put up a new version that should work better. —Milo Fett[Comlink] 18:28, July 17, 2011 (UTC)
- OK. The point is that if your scanner can only get an image up to a certain resolution, don't artificially blow it up beyond that resolution, no matter how small it may be. The same goes with images downloaded from the web and screenshots. The infobox image on the Tallisibeth Enwandung-Esterhazy article is an extreme example of "don't blow up images".
On the flip side, however, I noticed in your reupload summary, you said that you reduced the size of the image. That's also considered bad, though not to the same extent that blowing them up is. Essentially, the goal is for each image to be as high of a resolution as possible without artificially blowing it up, since they can be resized on the fly when placing them in articles. To that end, it would be appreciated if you would upload the 600 dpi, non-reduced version. :) Master Jonathan — Jedi Council Chambers Sunday, July 17, 2011, 18:38 UTC
- Oh, ok, that makes sense. I didn't want to upload a 500x500+ image at first because I wasn't sure about bandwidth, file size policies, etc. but I guess I was confusing that with the user page images policy. I put up the non-resized version and hopefully that should work better. Does the no-resizing policy also apply to a game like (for example) X-wing, which already looks blocky, and would look more like it was originally intended to if it could be resized without aliasing? —Milo Fett[Comlink] 21:16, July 17, 2011 (UTC)
- That's beyond my limited knowledge of images (I don't even know what "aliasing" means). I would suggest asking Darth Culator or JMAS, as they know more about that stuff than I do. Master Jonathan — Jedi Council Chambers Sunday, July 17, 2011, 22:48 UTC
- Like the one on the left as opposed to the one on the right, but I'll ask one of them. Thanks for your patience! —Milo Fett[Comlink] 04:44, July 18, 2011 (UTC)

TOTJ Favor
Hey MJ,
IFYLOFD has asked me to prereview Ulic Qel-Droma from a TOTJ standpoint, but I would first like you to give it your stamp before I dig in. Same Tommy terms as always, just mention this request in your initial edit summary. I know it may take a bit due to length, and that's fine. Any objections you may have, feel free to leave them on IFYLOFD's talk page if you don't mind. Thanks in advance,—Tommy 9281 Saturday, August 6, 2011, 08:12 UTC
- I'm working on the copy-edit right now, but due to constraints on my time imposed by real life, I'm not going to be able to perform a full review, which would take extra time, along with it. I'll keep an eye out for the obvious stuff, though. Master Jonathan — Jedi Council Chambers Monday, August 8, 2011, 17:39 UTC

We're halfway there
thumb|left|200px|Hey Master Johnathan... good job So guys, we're nearing the halfway point with this barn-burner. I just want to send out a broad message thanking everyone who has and plans on participating in Wookieepedia's second barn-burner, and update you guys on how it's going so far. So far, we have promoted nine Comprehensive Articles, twelve Good Articles, and one Featured Article! Fantastic job everyone who wrote and reviewed those weapons articles, I couldn't have asked for a better group to do so. We also have a number of current Good and Featured Article Nominations currently up, which you can see here.
However, as we approach the halfway point, I do want to encourage you all to keep writing and reviewing weapon articles for the barn-burner. Our goal should be to meet or surpass the level set by the previous barn-burner, which had over forty promoted articles. While we should aim to pass as many articles as possible by the end of the month, I may extend the barn-burner a little into September for any stragglers, especially for those Users who are writing extremely long Featured Articles for the project.
I should also notify participants of a recent Consensus Track over weapons that is about to pass. The CT is over when we should fill in the "Owners" field for Template:Weapon. Right now, it seems as if we are leaning towards filling in the field for unique weapon types, and not filling in the field for general weapon types. As such, we should fix any weapons we have, or will, write for the barn-burner to fit these new parameters. Thanks you for reading this, and keep up the good work. - That's OK. A lot of newbies make that mistake. As for your other wiki, unfortunately I'm stretched thin enough as it is; I just don't have enough time to devote to another wiki. Master Jonathan — Jedi Council Chambers Thursday, September 1, 2011, 16:01 UTC
Re:R3
I am not a fan of the Steelers as well (I hate them :P), but that's not the reason why I decided to leave that out of the article. I do see that information as irrelevant trivia only showing Filoni's fanboy feelings of his supposedly favorite NFL team. It's actually mentioned as a brief trivial bit from the Downfall of a Droid episode guide and it was once in the R3 article. One of the original thoughts I had prior to working on the article was getting rid of that bit from the bts. Not really part of R3, but I find it odd that Filoni is calling TCW his show, when really it's Lucus'. JangFett (Talk) 21:02, September 5, 2011 (UTC)
- Alright then. I personally feel it should be mentioned in the BTS as it's relevant to the character's development/design, but it's your article, your call, and I'm not going to push any further given the team in question. :P Master Jonathan — Jedi Council Chambers Monday, September 5, 2011, 22:08 UTC

Hi,
Why did you remove my image?
{{SUBST:User:BobaFett12d/Sig.1}} - In Range. Take a Shot. 02:18, September 18, 2011 (UTC)
- I removed the link from the article because Darth Culator deleted the image for failure to follow our image policy. Ask him for more specific details. Master Jonathan — Jedi Council Chambers Sunday, September 18, 2011, 02:20 UTC

Hi MJ. I've granted the bot flag to AJTD6, please have it log out and back in so that AWB starts using the bot parameter for its edits, then the edits will start being botted properly. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers, grunny@wookieepedia:~$ 04:43, September 19, 2011 (UTC)

Insider for Rex and Vos
Hey Jon. As I'm beefing up the Sources for my Rex and Quinlan Vos projects, would you mind helping me out with some of the Insider issues in your collection? I haven't been able to access 109, 112, 113, 114, 115, and 116 to check for info on either Rex or Vos, so do you think you could help me out with them? I understand that this might take a while, so please don't feel rushed. Thanks in advance. CC7567 (talk) 07:16, September 30, 2011 (UTC)
- Alright, I'll post each bit one or a few at a time as I come across them:
"More Menace!" — Star Wars Insider 109: This discusses the impact that TPM had on the EU and briefly touches Vos in this statement: "In later series, Dark Horse would create a complicated Jedi hero from an [sic] character seen briefly in the background as Sebulba is throttling Jar Jar during Episode I. Quinlan Vos would then find his way back into the films: He's mentioned in Episode III, and his Padawan Aayla Secura got roles in that movie and Episode II, as well as in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, [...]" Also includes a couple of images, including File:Obiwanquinlan.jpg and another that doesn't appear to be on the Wook (a drawing, probably taken from a comic, of Vos with an angry look on his face, teeth bared, one hand open and extended away from the viewer, other hand holding his lightsaber, which is pointed down toward the ground). At least I think the latter is of Vos; it's difficult to tell if that's his signature yellow stripe across his face or just a normal variation in skin color, and the yellow stripe is the only way I have of identifying him.
"Obi-Wan Kenobi: Wizard of the Desert" — Star Wars Insider 112: {{Po}} for Vos (File:Obiwanquinlan.jpg again) Master Jonathan — Jedi Council Chambers Friday, September 30, 2011, 17:14 UTC
"Blaster" — Star Wars Insider 113: {{Po}} for Vos (cover of Star Wars: Republic 83: The Hidden Enemy, Part 3)
"Launch Pad" — Star Wars Insider 114: You have this listed for Rex, but on further review, only one clone (Cut Lawquane) is mentioned in text, and only one clone (Jesse) is pictured. I've looked over it three times, and Rex is nowhere to be found.
"Blaster" — Star Wars Insider 114: "Clone Commander [sic] Rex" is briefly mentioned as a playable character in a Leapster game and is also pictured on the cover of said game. Your call on whether this is worth listing. Master Jonathan — Jedi Council Chambers Sunday, October 2, 2011, 03:00 UTC
"A Brief History of the Mandalorians" — Star Wars Insider 115 (section header "October 2008"): "The release of The Clone Wars animated movie introduced the heroic Captain Rex whose clone trooper helmet bears the "jaig eyes" decoration, again from The Empire Strikes Back Sketchbook concept art." Also has a head-and-torso shot of Rex, with left hand pointed down and right hand pointing a blaster straight up.
"Dark Horse: Phase Two" — Star Wars Insider 115 (discussing Star Wars: Republic): "The prequel era at Dark Horse began with the launch of this series, originally titled simply Star Wars. Its early years are notable for the adventures featuring the Jedi Quinlan Vos and Aayla Secura."
- Star Wars Insider 116: Rex is pictured on the cover; the image is too small to be of any use for our purposes.
"The Art of Mandalore" — Star Wars Insider 116 (Dave Filoni speaking about the design process for Pre Vizsla): "For Pre Vizsla, we just wanted something that called him out as the leader. We took the range finder off his helmet. It was an effort to make Boba Fett cooler, and Jango cooler, and Rex cooler. I didn't want kids to be confused, because he would really look like Rex with a range finder. So we simplified it down; we distilled the helmet to its essence, and a trident is always a good symbol. [...]"
"Attack of the Clone" — Star Wars Insider 116 {{Po}} for Rex (a helmet-off shot of him standing at ease, part of a group shot with Commander Cody and one other clone that I don't know enough about to identify)
- That's it. Let me know if you have any questions or need anything else. Master Jonathan — Jedi Council Chambers Thursday, October 6, 2011, 19:41 UTC

Hey MJ. Could you please give the Jungle Felucian article a copy-edit? Thanks. QuiGonJinn 20px(Talk) 17:16, October 6, 2011 (UTC)
- Done, but there is one issue I couldn't fix:
Intro: "who hoped to use him as leverage to pay off from the Empire." What are you trying to say here? This makes no sense.
- Otherwise, should be good to go. Let me know if you have any questions. Master Jonathan — Jedi Council Chambers Thursday, October 6, 2011, 20:49 UTC

Request
Hi, MJ could you give [[User:Clone_Commander_Lee/sandbox/work4|this article]] a copy-edit and a word-count. Thanks. If you find anything to object, please let me know. Clone Commander Lee Talk 17:03, October 30, 2011 (UTC)
- Done. I have no objections, but I do want to note two issues that I corrected so you know not to do them in the future:
- When using "[sic]", do not correct the quote. The quote should always remain exactly verbatim, including any errors. Also, an exclamation point is not used with the "[sic]" sign.
- Don't use “curly/smart quotes”. They are severely frowned upon here. Use only "straight quotes". The same goes for 'single quotes' and apostrophes.
- Let me know if you have any questions. Master Jonathan — Jedi Council Chambers Tuesday, November 1, 2011, 04:28 UTC
- Thanks a lot. Clone Commander Lee Talk 14:15, November 1, 2011 (UTC)
Another (albeit small) request
- Could you give Apted Squelsh a copy-edit? Thanks a lot. Clone Commander Lee Talk 10:47, November 2, 2011 (UTC)
- Done, but please check whether this correction I made is accurate: "Squelsh told Nate that Baraka was satisfied with the efficiency of his troops," Otherwise, let me know if you have any questions. Master Jonathan — Jedi Council Chambers Wednesday, November 2, 2011, 16:28 UTC
- It is, thanks a lot. Clone Commander Lee Talk 18:53, November 2, 2011 (UTC)
