Image sourcing
Hey KEJ. For the Dragonbane file that you recently uploaded, I took the liberty of using the upload form to properly source the image, just so that you know what the correct usage of the {{Information}} licensing template looks like. Please note that all images should use the {{Information}} template to avoid copyright problems; usually the Special:Upload form has a guide to uploading images with the template. Please look over the image page to make sure that all the information is correct. This is not a warning, just some advice for the future :) Hope that helps, and let me know if you have any questions. CC7567 (talk) 21:36, January 17, 2014 (UTC)
- In addition, please make sure to add the {{Information}} template (with the appropriate fields filled in) to the other file that you recently uploaded. Thanks. CC7567 (talk) 21:38, January 17, 2014 (UTC)
- While all good-faith contributions to Wookieepedia are appreciated, we ask that you please refer to Wookieepedia:Images, which can be found under the "other policies and guidelines" link in your welcome message, and familiarize yourself with the sourcing and licensing requirements before uploading any more images. The only uploading method supported by Wookieepedia, Special:Upload, will prompt you to enter this information. Wikia's non-standard upload forms are not supported under Wookieepedia policy, and ignorance of the uploading rules is not an acceptable excuse. Continued violation of the image policy or falsification of any information in an upload description are considered vandalism and will likely result in a block. Thank you. In regards to your recent edits
Comments like these ones are completely unneeded and not welcome on Wookieepedia. If you feel enforcing site policy is somehow ignorant, you need to reconsider your view. Edits not adhering to our Civility policy are grounds for sanctions. Please cool it. Thank you for your cooperation. 1358 (Talk) 18:49, January 19, 2014 (UTC)

Galactic Phrase Book & Travel Guide
Hello KEJ. I see that, some time ago, you added a picture from Galactic Phrase Book & Travel Guide to the Gungan Basic article. I take it that you (still) own that book, right? --LelalMekha (talk) 15:43, February 7, 2014 (UTC)
Editing
Please be advised that all articles on in-universe topics are written in past tense. It may also benefit you to double check the accuracy of the links in your articles as well, because they've been unnecessarily redirecting to older pages. Additionally, I've been noticing a lot of spelling errors in your articles recently, as well as improper capitalization. Please see the manual of style if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Trip391 (talk) 16:22, February 8, 2014 (UTC)
- I've been a member since 2005, so I know about the tense rule... I'm just perpetually rusty because I only contribute occasionally. But thanks for keeping an eye on my contributions. KEJ (talk) 16:37, February 8, 2014 (UTC)
- Didn't really tell you about any new policies to follow. Just noticed that you kept capitalizing words wrong, as well as spelling words wrong. For example:
- availble is spelled available
- ony is spelled only
- reating is spelled relating
- repating is spelled repeating
- retreived is spelled retrieved
- scenrio is spelled scenario
- specfically is spelled specifically Trip391 (talk) 17:04, February 8, 2014 (UTC)
- You don't need to teach me how to spell. I just type very fast, and I'm in too much of a hurry (and too sloppy) to double check - I simply forget to do it. But thanks for keeping an eye on my edits. KEJ (talk) 17:11, February 8, 2014 (UTC)
- I think what Trip is trying to say is that it's not an excuse to be in too much of a hurry and too sloppy to double check your work. Wookieepedia policy requires proper American English grammar and spelling. Typos are always going to happen and are excusable, but there comes a point when too much sloppiness becomes too much. I would suggest slowing down. I don't know what Internet browser you use, but Firefox (which Wookieepedia recommends using) includes a built-in spellchecker for this purpose. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 17:15, February 8, 2014 (UTC)
- Don't worry, I am naturally going to slow down due to my job and due to the fact that the joy of making Wookieepedia contributions typically does not last very long for me anymore. My level of activity is likely to dwindle in the near future, because I have reached the no-fun point again. But thanks for keeping an eye on my edits and my user page. KEJ (talk) 17:31, February 8, 2014 (UTC)
- You're perfectly welcome. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 17:35, February 8, 2014 (UTC)
- Again, since your problem seems to be that you can't be bothered with double checking your work, you probably should consider doing so. Because besides leaving out appropriate categories, and using old redirects again, you've forgotten to capitalize the beginnings of sentences, and continue to spell common words wrong. Such as:

Duplicate images
Hey KEJ, nice job on the uploads, nice to see some WEG love. You might want to check the categories before uploading, you're uploading a few images that are already on the site. this category was already populated with a few of the images that you recently uploaded. Protectorate (talk) 23:58, February 11, 2014 (UTC)
- Oh, okay. Nice to see that there are some WEG pics on Wookieepedia. The Wook is severely lacking in the WEG department otherwise. KEJ (talk) 08:03, February 12, 2014 (UTC)

Civility
I know that you may be rusty on some of Wookieepedia's policies, and don't really care/can be bothered with what they are regardless, but just so you know the edit summary you used here can certainly seem uncivil, and you should probably be careful. It hasn't really changed much in a few years, but it case you forgot, using a judgemental tone in an edit summary is a no-no, and while you may not care, some of the admins may not take it very kindly, and could block you, just so you know for the future. Trip391 (talk) 09:15, February 15, 2014 (UTC)
- That was just a joke and not directed at anyone. KEJ (talk) 09:19, February 15, 2014 (UTC)
- I'd certainly hope not. Trip391 (talk) 09:19, February 15, 2014 (UTC)
- Let me tell you what I was poking fun at. I was poking fun at the policy that forbids redirect links in articles. I haven't been able to find it in Wookieepedia's jungle of policies, but there obviously is one. KEJ (talk) 10:04, February 15, 2014 (UTC)
- Sorry for intervening, and whilst I didn't find the edit summary that offensive, may I ask what is so wrong about not wanting redirects, sir? Still, within an article, redirects are as harmful as redlinks, perhaps even more since most of the times they "state" that the one at hand is an outdated link and it may not even lead you to the intended one (sometimes it directs you to a disambiguation page). Though it's highly encouraged that we fix them whenever we can, it's not like we're going to start executing people for not doing it at every corner. However, if one creates redirect links on purpose, now that is pretty counterproductive and it's well..not nice. Thank you. Winterz (talk) 15:18, February 15, 2014 (UTC)

Appearances sections
Just so you know, the appearances section on an article like Silent Fury should be listed in alphabetical order. I've gone through and alphabetized the A Taste of Adventure adventures for you. Trip391 (talk) 17:27, February 15, 2014 (UTC)
Categories
You might want to double check a category before placing it on a page, because if it is spelled wrong, or the capitalization is off, it will lead to an empty, non-existent category, like what happened with the bounty hunters category for Jasta Finn here. In this instance, the "h" in hunters should not be capitalized. Trip391 (talk) 09:19, February 22, 2014 (UTC)
