As for the page...I would advise that you stick to standard policies, instead of taking it upon yourself to enforce your own ideas. Anyway, are you referring to the 'dos and don'ts' guideline that says that one should take it to the CT if one wants to change an existing policy? I've just skimmed through the official policies-pages, but I can't find any official policies regarding voting competitions. Can you point me to them? KEJ 11:03, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

• • • • • • • It seems there is no real policies regarding the

format of voting competitions "Coolest thing..." and "Miss Star Wars..." etc. It's my impression that in the "Miss/Mr Star Wars" competitions voters did not generally drop comments in the middle of the votes. Anyway, we could discuss from here till the end of the world about the form of whatever de facto standard policies we might have. I don't think there is a standard policy or even a general status quo, since these competitions have been very adhoc-ish till now. However, since they appear to be becoming more and more common place, I think we need a de jure policy. I'll take it to the CT right away. KEJ 11:25, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

• Ah, oh, I though the 'would you mind' was kind of a polite way of

giving an order like in 'Would you mind doing the dishes in stead of playing Star Wars Galaxies all the time'. Sorry, I just misunderstood. I guess I'm getting paranoid. My reason is that a clone advisor appears in a canonical source, and also Ray Kaufman's remarks. I know you won't buy this argument, but that doesn't change my vote. I like your comment of the "clone ramp-walker" though, but I'd advise you to remove the redlink, ortherwise someone might create the article. Peace. KEJ 20:51, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
