Please keep in mind that GIF is not a preferred format on a wiki. Preferred formats are JPEG for screenshots and photographic works and PNG for drawings. - Sikon [Talk] 08:27, 29 Nov 2005 (UTC)

• Sorry, perhaps I gave you the wrong impression. Basically, images should be in the format in which they consume the least space. There's no universal rule, but the more "natural" an image looks, the more probable it is that JPEG will suit better. Comic book scans are usually posted in JPEG, too. Here's a link to the image: File:Winterbaby.jpg. I'm not an admin so I can't delete the two other images, but I marked them for speedy deletion. - Sikon [Talk] 09:10, 29 Nov 2005 (UTC)
