Dogfight pictures

Hey Goodwood, I uploaded some of the dogfight pictures that I came across and organized them in a Gallery for you → Gallery of dogfight images. • What you've got there so far looks really good. If it's possible I'd like to get the source works for the pictures so I can include them in the "Appearances" section - in addition more Clone Wars/Legacy dogfights would be welcome. RFA

I strongly agree with your stance. I am giving Jaymach the chance to give me at least one positive impression before casting my vote. But I really do begin to see what certain "new" (presumably disgruntled and returning) users are thinking about the admins. Some of them were talking about giving Jaymach his sysop rights back without nomination or voting. I vehemently disagree with the notion. We cannot just have an "in crowd" on Wookieepedia; this is a meritocracy by nature. • I've come to understand that Jaymach's contributions to the Wiki, aside from his bullyish behavior in the IRC, actually exceed those of many admins, including the several admins I like even less than Jaymach. The whole superiority complex displayed by a few of our admins sickens me. My opinion of you remains high, Goodwood. You're like me: you really want to contribute, you don't really care what people think about you, and you encourage young and new users who otherwise would be crushed under the heels of some of our more prolific users. But in Jaymach's case, I suggest taking the high road. If he wants to be an arse, let him. I really don't believe others revere him for his interpersonal skills. Re: Starfighter combat

• The article is now referenced fully and the capitalization issues have been fixed, but there is still some sticky wording when it comes to uses of "dogfight" and "starfighter combat" that should be addressed before I consider it good. Era tags

Re your edit to Sarkan: our usual policy for era tags is that they only appear for articles which are specifically tied to one period, such as events, characters, and vehicles. Almost all sentient species, planets, etc., exist in some form for the whole of galactic history, so the era tags are left out. Anyway, that's why I reverted your edit. Goodwood, I saw that you have a userbox stating you promoted the article to GA. I Italic textstronglyItalic text disagree. You made one edit to the page, which was adding the goodnom tag. Greyman said that you have to write a large portion of it to bring an article to GA, thus, when your ban is done, I would like you to remove it. It was decided on IRC that, if they both wanted it, then they were both entitled to the box—Culator since he obviously wrote the darn thing, and Goodwood for nominating it as a GAN. Also, Jediknight19bby, your last comment to Goodwood is unnecessary and unwarranted. You yourself just got off of a block from editing for WP:NPA. Anything further like that will be carefully watched, and I suggest that you leave warnings and whatnot to Administrators—if you have a problem with a user, then bring it to the attention of an admin. You'd be surprised how little the book talks about fighters in combat—something I made sure to mention when addressing the objection. Endless skimming and re-skimming was involved. Taris dueling ring objections.

Good evening, Goodwood.

I went through and fixed what I could find regarding tense, expansion, etc. I replayed the game going through Taris and the dueling ring/cantina sidequests. I honestly could not find a real suitable quote. I'll try again over the next couple of days. As for another picture, I'll see what I can do, but the only that is not player controlled is between Gerlon and Deadeye Duncan. Its not really a fight as its one-shot and down. I'll see if I can get a picture of it, but no guarantees.
