In-universe articles are written in past tense and from a neutral point of view. Our Manual of Style and Layout Guide form the basis for writing on Wookieepedia.
All additions to Wookieepedia must be sourced and attributed to a reliable, official source. Fanfiction is welcome on the Star Wars Fanon Wiki.
We encourage all users to set up a user page and create a unique signature. All talk page and forum comments are part of the public record and comments on them, including your own user talk page, should be left intact. Remember to sign your comments by typing four tildes, like this: ~~~~

Source editor

Hi there CatGet, I would encourage you to go to the My Preferences page and, under the editing tab, switch from using visual editor to source editor. Visual editor causes many bugs (for example, look at my edit on the electro-whip page where I cleaned up things following your visual edit there). Source editor will be much better. Affiliation

Hello again CatGet, just wanted to shed some light on what the affiliation field in the infobox is used for. Individuals who are a part of a group using some form of technology does not qualify for this unless it is widespread (for example, the E-11 being a standard-issue weapon of the Empire). Otherwise, Owen Lars owning a certain speeder does not mean the speeder is affiliated with the Lars family. Tense

Hi there again CatGet, please be advised that all articles on in-universe topics are written in past tense. I've had to go and correct a lot of your edits that used the incorrect tense. I'm also noticing that spelling errors have been common in your edits and ask that you please do your best to improve in this area. You may consult the Manual of Style if you would like to learn more about these conventions.
