Great Hyperspace War

Hey AdmirableAckbar, this is Cm56327. I'm sorry I didn't get to you on the Great Hyperspace War earlier, I forgot to put it on my watchlist and forgot about it. I only remembered today. But thank you, you did answer my question. However, I've got another one: if the Republic could afford a gigantic triceratops-mounted blaster canon plus the cost of buying and raising the triceratops, the cost of shelter, food and trainers for it, I'm sure they could afford some blaster rifles and good armor for at least some of the army. Spelling

thanks for letting me know i must have been thinking of other things during my editing spree but really get over it plenty of people make spelling errors and the ones you are talking about where made days ago and bringing it up now is pretty pointless. If you really do "cringe" every time you see it change it or someone else will. Once again I would like to say sorry if I bit your head off when you advised me about my spelling, all I can say in my defense was that it was late at night when i read it but that isn't really a good reason. Hopefully now that I have taken note of what you have said my spelling should improve but everyone makes mistakes sometimes also i don't tend to pay as much attention to comments as I do with articles as usually i am trying to convey half a conversation quickly before I log off at the end of the day. Hey, great job on his article. Can I please just ask you for one thing? Can you leave the quote ""To be brave in battle proves nothing. Bravery itself proves nothing. It is my favourite one and I think it's a great quote that says a lot about his character and the nature of the Jedi Code as he viewed it... also it's the first edit I made as an Anon a long time ago and I kinda don't want it to go away.   • Yeah that's what I figured you were getting at. However, I don't see that Ulic would have been able to defeat Null without killing him, especially due to the armor he was wearing. So yeah I agree he probably struck him down in anger, even though the comic doesn't come right out and say it (maybe there is another source that does though), but even if a police officer or say a member of a military unit strikes down a crim or a hostile in anger/vengeance/hate, it's not considered to be murder unless they did so unlawfully or in a manner that would seem excessive, such as torturing the then victim. If you want to convey the fact that Ulic struck him down in anger, you might want to add a bit saying that even in death Null achieved a victory over Ulic by bringing him one step closer to the Dark Side. I don't know it's up to you. ^_^

  • Alright. So, I finished the text portions of Thon tonight. There remains only a few things to be done. The first is that you look over what I wrote and add whatever you feel is lacking, especially in the P&T. I will do the same with your sections. Second (and I'll handle this), I will upload a slew of good images for the article and place them. Third, there are three redlinks which can be fixed. Finally, the intro needs a bit of reworking, because I don't really like it (it downplays Thon himself) and it isn't nearly long enough for the article. After these things are done, we can slap it on the nom page. Hopefully you'll be around tomorrow. That's the first time I've heard fair use being mentioned on Wookieepedia. You have a total of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 6, 7, seven images that violate US law because they are not in fair use. The reason I put so many pictures is because that's what Pioneers such as myself use a lot when visiting filming locations. Text don't help that much. --Steinninn 03:28, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
