Hello and welcome to Wookieepedia. I hope you like the place and choose to join our work. Here are a few good links for newcomers: [[:File:Thoseabouttojediwesaluteyou.jpg|thumb|180px|New Wookieepedian, Luke Skywalker salutes you]]

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. Moving discussions and cursing

You have no right to move a discussion to my talk page, even if it was getting off of the subject. Also, you have no right to change what someone has said because they cursed. If you have a problem with cursing, don't look at it then. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 22:07, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

I didn't know that there was anything about moving little quarrels from a cool page one of the arguers pages, I'm sorry. But I will delete cursing as long as I can.

Only staff members have the authority to lawfully edit other people's posts. Your crusade against jumbles of letters does not fall under that. Lord Patrick 04:07, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

The stupidest question ever

How do I rename my user page? Make it my user page instead of 71.205.8.77's.

Mod section

Because it's non-notable. Kuralyov 21:34, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

  • Cry about it, then. Kuralyov 21:37, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
  • Listen, I'm only going to say this once: I don't give a shit about your stupid mod, so stop bugging me about it and piss off. Kuralyov 21:42, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

użytkownika?

What happened to the language? I was a user, now I'm a użytkownika. I would greatly prefer to have my page title in english, if possible.

Userboxes

Any new userboxes need to go through our selection process before they get created. Kindly stop creating them without going through this process. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 18:10, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

  • Actually I could very well stop it as you seem to have no respect for either other site admins (btw, your bible teaches you to treat everyone with respect, even when they don't) or the site rules itself, which really warrants a ban. We probably will not allow the User-Christian template due to the fact that it would mean many users would single you out for ridicule, and we try to cut down on that as much as we can. You can keep the template hard-coded on your page for now, but if any issues arise because of it then it may be liable to be deleted. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 18:20, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
    • I don't know who created the Christian userbox, but I do know (from the page history) that it had only been created 4 days before I deleted it and so the only reason it hadn't been deleted earlier was due to the fact that no admin had noticed it at that time; you adding it to your page simply brought it to my attention. The Imperial Assault II page was deleted because, mostly, it is an unreleased fan modification; when it does get released and if it garners enough fan notice then it may warrant a page on the Wookieepedia, but until then I'm afraid we just can't allow it as per our site rules. We also would not allow pages based on non-canon information on IA2 at any time, but you would be allowed to add that information to the IA2 page if and when it garnered enough fan support. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 18:36, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

Imperial Assault II

Hey there. The article on the EaW modification Imperial Assault II was deleted because it is an unnotable fan creation. --SparqMan 18:36, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

Hey

Hey 1upD, its me JM 76 from SWFanon. Who else is here? Master 76

Cult of Kyle Katarn

  • Relax. It's all okay. -- SFH 00:23, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
    • AHH! Sorry, I completely forgot tommorow was April Fools day. I didn't notice that to people in a different time zone it was april fools day. Really sorry about the mess, I thought it was major hacking vandalism.--1upD 00:25, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

Modding EaW

  • Heh. I'm the proud owner of this mod. And I've been around EaWFiles a lot... in fact, I'm under the same name there. Originally, I was Darthjacob1153. IIRC, I'm the guy who you pointed to your skinning tutorial. Jorrel 20px Fraajic 20:43, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
    • Oh! Sorry. Thanks.--1upD 20:46, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
      • Woah, sorry about the italics and bold on the last sentance... Wiki formatting and all. I wasn't trying to prove a point or anything, or shove something in your face :-P. No need for you to be sorry. But, yes, I'm a big modder of EaW. Well, I aspire to be one. Never really can completely finish anything, especially with my introduction to XWA. Got a bunch of ideas, though. Just can never actually get them onto paper. Also, are you the same 1upD as on Imperial Assault? Jorrel 20px Fraajic 20:52, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

Not the way to solve problems

Offsite harassment and personal attacks are not the way to solve a problem you have with an administrator. I deleted the fanfic because it was in violation of policy. If 8311 didn't back it up, it's not my fault. Furthermore, if 8311 wants access, I can provide the deleted information to him. But that's no reason to leave it up longer in violation of policy. Furthermore, personal attacks, whether on-site or off-, are also in violation of policy. Consider yourself lucky; I'll let you off with a warning. If it happens again, you're taking a forced vacation. Havac 17:57, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

  • Apology accepted, Captain Needa. Yes, administrators can view deleted content. 8311 is still able to edit his talkpage, and he can tell me there where he'd like his fanfic transferred. Though after being lied to by someone who had already gotten into trouble over the exact same issue before, I'm not particularly inclined to let him have it. If he's lucky, he'll strike me in a good mood. I try to be a nice, understanding guy, really, but that doesn't mean I'm going to put up with any kind of shenanigans. Deal with me honestly and things should go smoothly for everyone. Tell me you don't have time and spend three more hours editing -- well, then you're only digging yourself in deeper. Fluffy the Rancor

Hey, I just saw your article on SWFanon about Fluffy the Rancor. I find that really funny and neat at the same time! Keep up the creativity!! -Dubtiger 23:02, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

Battle of Kamino (Imperial era)

Hey 1upD, I don't want editing conflict either. Are you certain that is that battle and not Battle of Kamino during Clone Wars? I also read Order 66: Novel, though I don't remember mentioning this particular conflict in book. More it's hardly believable that someone was talking about battle that didn't happened yet (as we both know ORDER 66 novel end 1097 days ABG, so shortly after Order 66 was given). And can you tell me on what page is that written? Thanks in advance.--Jedi Marty 21:51, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

  • Thanks, but I don't think that's qualify as reference to that Battle of Kamino. If you read previous Traviss'es book especially short story Odds, you found that Palpatine and kaminoans had term contract for production of clones only for a few years. Logically after Palpatine become emperor he no doubt would take by force that production facility (he needed strong army and Centax 2 bread them to fast, they become not so effective as kaminoan cloans were). What I think would be better to put indirect mention only (Indirect mention only) tag instead of mention only, cause noone was talking about this particular conflict, but about no doubt FUTURE conflict. What do you think?--Jedi Marty 22:19, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
